Amazing!!! I try to come every time Iām in Albany area! The food is amazing and fresh all the time. Been here more than 10 times in 6 weeks and it is so worth it! These days it isnāt worth going out to eat because the service and quality isnāt there anymore but this place is the exception! The clear soup is so delicious also.

Amazing food- the sushi & sashimi were GREAT, and you can get all these different Korean dishes, and awesome Korean fried chicken which is its own thing, right next to it. The table next to us got some udon bowls that looked & smelled so tasty too, and I was tempted to add one to my lunch, but now I have that to look forward to on my next visit, which will be soon! Super friendly hosts, too- a MUST visit!

We were surprised and delighted by how fresh the food was at this restaurant. We wandered in about 8 PM on a very slow night and yet our sashimi was absolutely fantastic and all our other dishes were beautifully presented. We would 100% return to this restaurant. Itās a hidden gem

Modu Sushi completely shatters that expectation. This gem delivers an exceptional dining experience that rivals big-city standards.
The chef and kitchen staff at Modu Sushi are truly outstanding, crafting fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious sushi and sashimi. Their menu offers something for everyone, from the simple yet perfectly executed California roll to the indulgent and flavorful Lobster Delight roll. Every bite is a testament to their skill and attention to quality.
Beyond sushi, the kitchen shines with dishes like the Modu Bibim Bap, bursting with fresh, assorted vegetables, as well as savory classics like Bulgogi (marinated beef), Duruchigi (marinated pork), and Tempura Udon, a comforting blend of Japanese noodles, shrimp, and vegetables. Each dish is consistently well-prepared and satisfying.
Whether I dine in or opt for takeout, the experience is always top-notch. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant itself is impeccably clean and fresh, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment.

Small family-run business. Itās well rated in the area, but doesnāt hold up to its ratings.
The vibe is very similar to Yoshi Sushi in Latham. You donāt get much by way of service, so it is really not worth eating in. The sushi was hit or miss ā fresh salmon, freezer burned octopus, average eel. The Korean hot entrees were very overcooked to the point of mushiness and is diabetes on a plate, it is just bathed in sugar.
For a superior sushi experience in every way, go to Yoshi in Latham. For sushi in a higher league, go to Sushi By Bou.
Any of the other many Korean places would be a better choice.
If you haven't been here, just come. They have great sushi and awesome korean food selection. They're the deal!! šš¼

Definitely some of the best sushi and service around. I make a point to stay in Clifton Park just so I can eat here. I usually get take out and enjoy it with a bottle of sake. They are good about letting you know if the order will take longer than mealeo says. Oh, and try the wings! Delicious and crispy!

Ok, I come here every year when my kids started skiing since 2018. Itās been our goto place every time we visit!
However we stopped 2 yrs ago since our kids graduated from the small ski resorts nearby to now ski resorts more up North.
Tonight we drove down from Canada and made a stop here once again after 2 years and the owners still remember us and the food and service still did not disappoint.
We came with a party of 9 and ordered their set sushi dinners, wings, Japchae, bibimbap, seafood pancake and the kids had their meals and everything has been great.
The sushi is always pretty fresh, wings are the best in the area and the best ever according to my kids. Itās their idea to come here in the first place since they love the wings that much!
Weāre from NYC, the culinary capital, and weāre spoiled with all the great food. With that we still would recommend this to ppl looking for some good sushi/simple Korean/ and actually some pretty good wings I must say!
