met a friend for lunch @ 1:00 pm. ample seating. was greeted almost immediately by our server, r***. with an effervescent & engaging personality. service was quick, efficient, & correct. we both ordered salads, which were ample & very well made. extra dressing + soda ? refills too ! never felt rushed. highly recommended ! will certainly be back !Parking: no parking issue @ 1:00 pm on a monday.

We stopped in here for a drink because we were staying nearby. It's a divey spot, but that's cool with us. Drinks were fairly priced and the bartender took care of us quickly. It was just a bit off we were sitting at the bar but there was plastic windows along the outside, to be indoor/outdoor I'm assuming. Only issue was the flaps were open near the bouncer with a big draft, meanwhile they had heaters on the ceiling...but right next to fans that were also on. Just created a heck of a temperature issue, from cold to hot to mostly cold. It was pretty busy so this was the only place to sit. Also, there was a couple in their 40s-50s making out at the bar for the entire 30 mins we were there. It was honestly gross and the bouncer could have spared us having to look at that. Seems to get rowdy late night. We left around 10:30 and I think I saw it is open til 4am.

Our family is *extremely grateful* to Josh, our wonderful server at Peddlers last night... After our family of 4 had paid and exited the restaurant, we saw Josh gesturing from a restaurant window. My husband had accidentally left his credit card at our table, and Josh wanted to make sure we got it back. I ran back inside to get it, and thanked Josh then. But I want to publicly express my family's huge gratitude to Josh - his kindness and attentiveness when he was taking care of us throughout dinner, and then most importantly *Josh's amazing caring and character* in returning my husband's forgotten credit card to us.I hope the Peddlers leadership/management team sees my review here and can recognize Josh for the asset he is to Peddlers. This was our family's first time at Peddlers (we were in the Clifton Park area for different school/sports events for our daughters), and based on Josh and our 5-star family-friendly experience here, I will 100% recommend Peddlers to others, and we look forward to returning the next time we're in the area. Very disappointed. Music very loud. Food was ok but portions were small and our waitress was very slow and not attentive at all. We had 3 people, ordered drinks, finished them, she sat with her friends and past us 3 times before asking if we wanted another, never asked if our food was good. Finally came with our bill and had already added a 20% tip, because out bill was over $100?? Never heard of that before...she did not deserve 20%. Then they allowed pot smoking in the restroom that completely filled the restaurant with smoke. I used to like it here too.

Food was tasty after watching a concert. Service was on point . Food was cooked to perfection . I was impressed that the kitchen staff was still open after 11:30 pm. I would definitely stop again to eat .

Food is bar food...but actually pretty well put together. Service is very good and quick. Ambiance is dark and drafty. Big place, plenty of people, dance floor, and a more new aged style of music and drafts.

They added a 20% gratuity to our bill of a party of 4. And then asked us to sign the receipt stating he told us. Gratuity is based on customer experience.....its in the name! It's no longer gratuity when it's automatically applied...I will not be going back until they change this!

I have been a patron and a fan of this establishment for many years and recently became aregular but last night my husband and I were treated with such disrespect on 01/27/2024. We come here about 3 times a month on Saturdays to enjoy the amazing DJ. We love going here until last night when we were treated as if we were teenagers. DMV takes your old ID and gives you an interim ID. I asked DMV will I have a problem using this they said no LOL why? Took an uber to Pedds being a responsible adult to not drink and drive now all a sudden they have someone checking IDs which is fine, just never saw this woman before. I mean they should have been checking id's all along but then was told my ID isn't a valid NYS ID. Also, showed my printed copy of my old ID as well. Never had a problem here before. So I speak with the bouncer and he says is there anyone here who can vouch for you? I said the bartenders should know us but then the DJ saw us hugged us and confirmed who we were...so they said ok come on in everything is all good. I went to the back patio to vape outside the bar area, then met my husband at the front bar. I personally ordered a vodka cranberry and my husbands drink handed them our credit card the bar tender knows we typically keep our card on hold so he did..and as soon as we were handed the drinks I get a tap on my shoulder by the bouncer "hey you need to leave my Manager (who's name is Anna) says so." I said very calm at first, ok why? Your ID is not valid, Manager said they would loose their liquor license if you stayed "...said ok then why did you let us in at all and order drinks if now all of a sudden its against the law?Again this conversation was still calm at this point but cause I don't want to have problems at one of my favorite places in the area I said ok whatever we will leave but I'm not paying for the drinks we just ordered that we're in our hands and only had 1 sip of. I guess since I already had a sip of the drink with liquor in it they are going to loose their license... right? lol...At first they weren't going to refund us but how can you say you will loose your liquor license and then charge us for liquor? Geez I wonder? Finally the Manager Anna said no problem, I'll refund your card. Bartender would not refund my card or give me the card back that was on hold with them. So, again was told by the bouncer I needed to leave and I said ok understood its no problem but not with out my credit card and a refund. So a big scene for absolutely no reason that was created by the staff. Was asked if we need to get the cops. I said please do, love for them to validate my ID and see that your holding my credit card hostage. Finally, got our card, my refund and left. No problem. No cops were called. We weren't being absurd or anything. Went outside waiting for an uber. Bouncer came out and was like you guys need to leave. We said ok listen this is getting out of hand...sorry your upset and want to take your anger out on us but we are just waiting for our uber. Bouncer replied "don't care..wait in the street". Really?After all this went to another bar we love too...had no problem with my valid NYS valid interim ID when i showed it to their bouncer, drank and spent 125$ there... sorry that the owners of Pedds lost that revenue from their incompetent, disrespectful Managers and bouncers. Guess I need to find a new regular place to go to. To the Staff at Peddlers, please don't quote NYS law if you don't know it you are not attorneys. You may have been able to refuse service to me which is your right and just should have simple said in a nice mannor when we walked through the door you weren't going to accept my ID at all and said come back when I get my ID in the mail would love to have you. I would have accepted that. My ID was valid and I'm 40 years old but the staff made me feel like an underminded teenager trying to be sneaky...like half the underage drinkers they may probably have in their bar with fake id's.
