Fantastic, full-size pints. 9.5👍
Food was great and loved the live music, Take 2. What a treat!
We had a group of 9 for dinner on a Saturday night, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Everyone’s food was excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite spots!
All around good experience. The Shepard pie is definitely worth it.
Large assortment of draft beers and ales. Good pub food. I especially like the fish and chips. The hot wings are great.
Good food, friendly staff.
All-around great place

This place is a fascinating gem. I don't know what the building was used for originally, but it's a very charming warren of rough wood rooms with quirky but well-suited decor. And the food is exceptional. Frickles (fried pickles and banana peppers), fish & chips, and the Guinness pot roast were all delicious, served hot and quickly, despite the place being packed. Definitely worth a stop or, if you're in the area, add it to your list of go-tos.

First visit. Food came quick. Two orders were incorrect. Right meals brought promptly. We were quickly asked once if everything was ok. Never asked if anyone wants a second drink when meals were brought or after. Waters never refilled. Waitress came after we were done eating “here’s your check”. Maybe someone wanted a second drink or refill? Or perhaps a dessert? Paid the bill and went to leave. Waitress was sitting on the main entrance bench on her phone head down, clearly not busy with other things. Food was “ok”. Sunday night 530pm. Not odd hours.

First time at Powers Pub, friendly greeting at the door, and by the bar and wait staff. Everyone was very accommodating with assistance for my wife.
Our wait staff Alex and Sonya were great! The menu was explained, and the large beer selection was the best around. We started with Guinness Kilkenny Irish Red Ale Nitro, Harp Lager, and Smithwick's Premium Irish Ale. All were excellent!
Our meals consisted of very two large tasty sandwiches: A Craic, (Grilled roast beef, sautéed onions, provolone cheese, horseradish mayonnaise on a baguette, with dipping Au jus), and a Gobbler (Oven roasted turkey, Swiss cheese and cranberry mayonnaise on challah). Each was served with a large portion of well-cooked good-sized fries. I had the French Onion Soup, Power's unique version with crostini and provolone cheese. It was the tastiest I ever had.
Our daughter took half of her sandwich home, and I had half of my wife’s. No way I could eat a whole sandwich, with that great French Onion Soup – that is a must! The whole menu looked great! Come hungry and just order a bunch of apps and soup or sandwiches – you won’t be disappointed.
