My anticipations were not met, but my day was not ruined.Let me start off by saying the service and reception at SparX was totally fine, I ordered over the phone, and because I was a new customer I had to pay over the phone with my card but I'm totally cool with that; it just makes sense. My order was for the Sticky Rice Shumai, Chicken Pan Fried Noodles, and Red Bean Buns. All together the total reached a little over $34, but the weight of the bag told me I was getting quite the hefty load for what I paid. The only question, was how tasty was it?Sadly, this is where things fell apart. The Shumai was already cooled down by the time I got home, and I don't know if it was because of this but it just had very little flavor. The consistency was still great, very filling, but it was like eating big balls of sticky rice. The pan friend noodles had the other problem though, they had a ton of flavor, and there was plenty of saucy chicken and veggies to pour over the crunchy noodles. But it had this aftertaste, that I can only describe as 'stale water'. I don't know, just, some of the veggies especially tasted strongly of this displeasing flavor. The chicken and some veggies were fine, but I think the base sauce was perhaps tainted. (I feel fine though, and it's been hours since my meal) Finally, the red bean buns. They were fine, as expected, but they too had cooled down too much as the buns had become tougher as a result. The filling was nice and subtly sweet, but the rather bland bun didn't make for a fun time bitting into them. Now normally I do not discount for temperature, it takes me roughly 30-40 minutes to drive home after all, but I was set for 4:00PM pickup and my entire order was done and sitting at the counter by the time I arrived at 3:55PM. So it could have been a bit fresher, which might have been able to help the Shumai and Red Bean Buns, though the noodles still suffered from that aftertaste.

The place is nice and comfy. However, when we got there around 7:40 on a Saturday. The first thing the hostess or the person who received us told us that the kitchen closes at 8:30. I found a little annoying because he told us several times even though we acknowledged it. Not sure why he had to emphasize about it, we were still on time. I would understand if we were less than 20 minutes to closing time.Besides that the place is good, the portions of the food are pretty big so keep that in mind. Our server was kind and attentive.

This is my happy place.A fantastical culinary adventure that is out this world. The all you can est dim sum is an incredible value for the variety and quality of food offered. The authentic flavors and spices are unlike anything I've experienced.Their soup dumplings and different variations of dumplings are incredible.Paired perfectly with their plum wine;culinary bliss.By far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had and I sing praises of this establishment whenever discussing fine dining,a legendary must try

Based on all the reviews I see on google, I figured I’ll give it a try. I’m not looking for the best authentic Chinese food. But these got to be the worst imitation Chinese takeout. The beef chow fun, noodle have no favor, not even cut just chucks of noodle, no veggie have only 3 little piece of scallions in it, the worst part is this dish is called beef chow fun, I only find 3 pieces of beef after I dig through the whole container. The palace crispy chicken is nothing but fry breading, can’t even find the chicken and not crispy at all.The ma-po tofu barely has any favor to it, all I can taste is tofu with corn starch as sauce, not spicy at all.The only thing is edible is the lamb skewers, it’s got some more favors than all the other dishes.

7:51 on a Sunday night and only one table besides us. Wants us to pack our own food when it’s a stew that’s the size of the table. Rice was dry and cold when brought out. We came as a Chinese family speaking Chinese, and they didn’t prepare chopsticks for us until we asked for them. When they finally brought out utensils they put them directly onto the table. When asking for spicy, they made it as if they were serving to people who think ketchup is spicy.

This was our only time we used this restaurant. We ordered food for pick up. It was pretty bad.First, no boxes were labeled and also were all "stapled" shut. A staple remover did not work and the opening process took at least 25min because of this.Second the spring rolls were all soft and mushy like they never got deep fried.Third the sweet and sour chicken was partially raw and uncooked. Lastly, the orange chicken had no orange taste at all and certainly wasn't spicy.

The best place in Clifton park to get soup dumplings! The lunch special is great and their portion sizes are generous! The food is great, the only thing I didn’t like was the soup. It seemed watery and not that flavorful. Other than that it’s my go to place for noodles and dumplings!

I eat their with friends and family two to three times a week. The owner is always ready to recommend a wonderful dish . We are used to sharing several orders of Dim Sum and whatever else we like. That would include just about everything on the menu. Not your ordinary Chow mean and fried rice even though they are on the menu. We are almost ready to restart the menu to try something new.as Peter is always ready to offer something. I never ate fish in a restaurant because of my discomfort of bones but they offer a whole fish, deboned and carefully put back over the bones well seasoned and delicious. No bones are found on the outer layer. Their crystal shrimp dim sum which I have eaten in many places is the best I have seen, and eaten. as like just about every restaurant the prices have been raised a bit. However, all restaurants suffered terribly during the pandemic, many went out. They have to raise the prices a bit to stay in business for us and maintain the quality we deserve if we eat out.TRy Sparx. Most people rste it on the top, as I do.

The confirmation text sent us to an address in a neighborhood, not the restaurant. Upon arriving 45 minutes after the initial order, the food was not ready, and there was confusion about an extra item that was supposed to be included in the order. Ultimately, the order was ready, and the extra item was for a different order.Overall the food was relatively tasteless. The beef was dry, the eggroll turned out to be spring rolls. The Shanghai noodles had essentially no sesame component to it. Pork fried rice relatively tasteless.Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Just about the worst service I've had in a long time. Server didn't seem to want to answer questions about any of the food and acted like I was wasting her time. When it came out not as I was expecting, I got a lot of attitude. When I asked them to take it off the check, I was asked to not come back. Don't worry, I am never coming back to this place. And I'm going to tell everybody I know not to come here either. If you're going to charge that much, you need to give people good service, don't give them attitude, and listen to their questions. If you don't know the answer to something, it's totally okay to go ask the chef. Provided he's not being snotty as well, which this chef totally was.
