We just moved to the area and have tried many different Asian cuisines. Tai pan was the best priced and the quality of the sesame chicken outshined all the other restaurants near by. The mei fun was super good too. The crab wontons were super fresh and not heavy in fried wrapper. The balance was perfect. Tai Pan is truly a hidden gem and one of those local spots that deserves so much more recognition. It’s family-owned and run by a woman and her husband, who is the chef, and you can absolutely feel the care and pride they put into everything they serve.
The restaurant itself is quaint, spacious, and surprisingly peaceful. Even though it’s a larger space, it’s quiet and not overwhelming at all, making it a really pleasant place to dine in.

We go to Tai Pan annually on New Years Eve. Occasionally we get take out here as well. The owners are hard-working people. The food is tasty and we have never had to wait for a table. It would be nice if more people supported this restaurant.
