Im not sure what happened but everything was just thrown in boxes . I know it was take out, but come on , no presentation. For the amount of money charged, you could do better!

My husband and I love having our date nights at The Flats! The specials are delicious and the entire staff is friendly and professional. We love that the manager/owner is always involved and interacting with customers. Highly recommend!

Love this restaurant. Their food is great, and they are very patient with special dietary needs, i.e. if you can't have seed oils.

Dietary restrictions: Scottish salmon grilled in olive oil only, and salad, with substitutions happily accommodated.

Valentine's day dinner was phenomenal.

Today was our first experience at The Flats. The food was amazing. Our waitresses was excellent. However it was the manager or owner who caught our attention. This gentleman was concerned about his staff in inclement weather (suggested closing early) and even more noteworthy was what he was doing during our visit. There was no task that he was above (refilling drinks, cleaning tables, cashing out orders, bagging takeout orders etc). Seeing that type of leadership these days is special. Thanks for a great visit, we'll be back!

The Flats in Clifton Park is a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was friendly and fast. This is my second Valentine’s Day eating there and two years in a row that the four course meal was selected just perfect with yummy choices. Highly recommend even if not a holiday!

Came in to order take out. Staff was helpful in helping me pick a curry dish. It's a nice little place. They just got some more seating in there from the last time I was there.

Called us after an hour to let us know they couldn’t fulfill our online order. The last time we ordered to pick up they were 30 minutes behind. Order at your own risk.

Service was great, atmosphere was really nice. Unfortunately the food was just ok. My Caesar salad was so overdressed I could hardly eat it and the creme brulee I had for dessert, there was hardly any. The smallest creme brulee I've ever seen in my life and I order them regularly. Definitely disappointed as I had heard good things.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I visited when it first opened and found the food overpriced and underwhelming. Hoping for a better experience, I decided to give it another chance, but it was even worse. Despite several open tables, it took an incredibly long time to be seated. Service was also disappointing, as getting the server’s attention was nearly impossible. While the drinks were decent, the food was both overpriced and terrible. I ordered a medium-well steak, but it was overcooked to the point of being inedible, resembling a hockey puck. Honestly, I’m shocked this place is still in business.

The food was great. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. It's always a pleasure to dine at a locally owned restaurant with a neighborly feel. We highly recommend dining here.

The flats is always a great go to restaurant. Their menu has options for everyone, including the pickiest eaters. I have not had anything there that disappoints. The kids menu includes an ice cream sandwich which pleases the kids sweet tooth. Just recently we went to brunch with Santa. They had letters for the kids to fill out while waiting for their food. Santa was waiting watching all the kids and waiting patiently for his visit. The setup to see Santa was excellent and made for a great picture! Santa was attentive to each kid and had given the time to talk about their list and how they have been that year. They had a mailbox for the kid to drop off their Christmas list! We got The Rudolph pancakes which were fun and delicious. We also got the candy cane chocolate waffles, they were beautifully done but also very yummy. They had quite a few options for the adults as well. I had a tough time deciding between their French toast bake, breakfast quesadillas or their vischer. The wait staff helped by recommending the vischer. It was a great pick, and so filling! I love how you can tell everything is made at their restaurant. I definitely recommend!
