The restaurant was shut down! We had reservations for Easter Sunday. We received our confirmation in email after scheduled and then even the text message the day before. Obviously, Open Table is not aware. We had really enjoyed the food here prior. How unprofessional and just plain lousy to not notify people...especially for a holiday. After arriving and finding the restaurant closed, we called. The message said it had closed just a few days prior and they were changing their business plan! It's not a large restaurant. Patrons could have been notified.
We had three meals, osso bucco, filet mignon and stuffed chicken breast and each was mediocre at best. The restaurant is cute and staff were very nice but food was expensive given the setting and its quality.

I feel that Across the Row Bistrio is one of the best kept secrets in the area. We also have a lovely meal. They have a nice new bar for sitting as well. Very quaint, fantastic food.

Disappointing when a restaurant has no vegetarian options. The chef must not know how to cook vegetables because the only accommodation I was offered was a plate of grilled vegetables Like that's the limit of vegetarian fare?

What a great meal ! The beet salad was wonderful! Duck was juicy and tender. Barb was a super waitress and very knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was so nice with the fireplace in the background. Love the new bar too. I can't wait to go back. . The carrot cake was scrumptious!

We visited Across the Row for Parents Weekend at Hamilton College (five of us including an 18 year old and twin 15 year old boys) . It is minutes away from the school in a lovely house in downtown Clinton. The menu is small but varied enough that we all found something we wanted. The food was very good (steaks, salmon and sea bass) and the service was excellent. Our waitress was pleasant but not overbearing and the food came out very quickly. It is a bit pricey but nice for a special occasion. The atmosphere is very cozy and feels like home :)

Party of three, appetizers were very good, two of the three meals were not good, the two meals that failed were both red meats, the first with lamb quality of meat was poor very fatty and under cooked, ordered medium, second a rib-eye, was cooked as ordered medium but quality of meat again was fatty. For three adults, two appetizers, two beers, aside from two meals under performing total bill with tip $198 Disappointing as not a lot of options for fine dining in Clinton, NY area, do not expect to return

It can be disheartening for a vegetarian to scan a menu and find no veggie entrees, which made for a rough start. But our server was quick to step in and call out the chef, who came to the table, interviewed both vegetarians, and came up with a terrific option to satisfy both. Overall it was a great meal.
Great food but we waited for an hour and a half for our food to come out - this would have been fine although our waitress did not speak to us the entire time to let us know that there was a problem with the food. We attempted to waive her over but she was unreachable and it was quite frustrating. 7pm reservation, ordered food at 7:15ish, food did not arrive until 9pm. Great food but very disappointing service.

Stuffed flounder entree was outstanding. My dining artner enjpyed the lamb chops but did not find them remarkable. Salad was very fresh, good variety of ingredients. Super crumbly bleu sheese dressing. A very enjoyable dinner

Filet mignon was great if your looking for a high quality pot roast. Price definitely does not reflect quality. Wait time was quite long long to boot. It was a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere outside, but we certainly won't be returning.
