“What a tremendous restaurant. We were staying in Clinton for the first time, and stumbled upon it. Just a fabulous meal, service, and ambience. Everything from the authentic sourdough bread, cider donut bread pudding was extremely memorable. We happen to be in there on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so while I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the corn beef on a regular basis, if it's any indication of the regular menu, it was stupendous. Not to mention the fact that the drinks were generous and we really appreciated the warm yet. Updated ambience. Kind of like, having a great babysitter, or Electrician. I hate to recommend Nola's too highly because I'm afraid we won't be able to just pop in next time. I would suggest reservations. Highly recommended.”

“It was the best of pizzas. It was the worst of pizzas. Two pizzas were ordered; a NY style large meatball and a plain upside down pie. The NY pie was not very good. The crust was so thin, there was no chew. All crisp and no chew. No layer between the crispy bottom and the wet, saucy side. Cracked and crumbled when folded. The ratio of crust to cheese to sauce was off. Baked on a screen. WAY too much gooey, non-snapping cheese. The outer crust had no chew to it and was too airy and light. Sauce was on point and meatballs were excellent. And, 16" isn't really a large in a REAL NY pizzeria. 18" is the NY standard. Then came the big save; the upside down or Utica pie. It was truly excellent. Probably pretty much the same ingredients as their NY style pizza, but WAY better in a different form. I ate it hot. I ate it at room temperature. Each bite was a flavorgasm. So, skip their NY style pie which is mediocre at best and order something memorable.”

The slices were surprisingly thiccccc... lol not that $1 slice in the city type. Bit sbarro thiccccc lol. "IYKYK" Service was great, saw sone college kids working the counter. “Alteri’s is family owned and you can feel the warmth dining there. Staff are friendly and the food made with love! They have some uniquely delicious sandwiches like The Mort and Roman is tasty too! The Big Salad and the Cheesy Bread should start every meal!”

“I've always liked sub way some locations it's hit or miss with their products I've seen old produce dried out meats and cheese and where the food is setting it didn't look as if the refrigeration system was cold enough at this location the sub was good but the place was kinda dirtyVegetarian options: Lots of great optionsDietary restrictions: What more can I say they have a great selection but as far as low sodium goes idk”

“My son came home on leave and the first thing he asked for was China Sea. I think this restaurant is the best Chinese food around. He only wanted the chicken and broccoli lunch special but I get my usual which is wonton soup pork lo mein sweet and sour shrimp sesame chicken with fried rice no vegetable and finally pork egg rolls with a side of Szechuan sauce. Yes I order all that by myself:)”

Arrived at 5:45, short 10 min wait at the bar with a charming bartender, quick chat with Bill, the owner and a window table was ready...Server was great.. asked if we'd like our salad and bread before appetizer...nice touch...bread was warm, buttery, crispy outside and soft inside...delicious...calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, lightly breaded and tender...drinks and bread were refilled and our Chicken Parms were ready...Good portion, great sauce, moist chicken, crisp breading, melted cheese served atop spaghetti that wasn't overcooked...the Italian Comfort we wanted was perfect...Reasonably priced, very attentive service and a very good meal...Thank you!”
