“Initially, walking in this place is a little rough looking, also it gets a little chilly, and the heater is a little bit loud. In the dining room area. The food was great. Hashbrowns came out very hot with their seasoning which tasted great. It looks like they dice the potato which gives the consistent cook. The eggs, Benedict and mushroom omelette also tasted amazing. This place is very reasonable also. Service is great.”

“I believe there's some history to this place beyond what it is now, which is a warm, quaint, welcoming local watering hole. When me and my family first moved here and I walked into "Town" to find us a late night snack., I found out the unpleasant news about the lack of options for food establishment's and especially after 8pm. By the way I learned this information out from the friendly bartender wrapping up her night shift with a last minute smoke, a guilty pleasure we both shared unfortunately lol. Long story short they offered to turn the grill back on and make me something to bring home for my newly moved in family even though they shut down for the night. They gave me some friendly advice about the local folk which over 1.5 yrs later is still true, and I went on my way and have frequented them since for a nightcap. Only thing I'd say on improving or should say just adding, would be the ability to pay by credit/debit card at the register/bar. Instead there's an ATM which is more costly to the customer as well as inconvenient for the purposes of buying a few drinks, especially if you wanted to use a credit card.. They basically give away Square ® nowadays with all the promos and such.. Just something to think about before summer rolls around ya know. But thanks . ?”

“Best ice cream in town! Long lines when it's really hot but otherwise pretty quick service. Plenty of parking in the back but not really anywhere to sit and enjoy your ice cream other than your car.”

“Without question one of the best and most unique restaurants in Utica. We have a lot of out of town visitors and this the spot they remember most. The weekend brunch is beyond amazing and the selections of coffee otherworldly.”

“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.”

“Lafa is always consistently delicious and I would recommend it to anyone! I love to make my own salad/grain bowl and load it up with my favorites. The fried chicken is the bomb, the bao buns are amazing, the gyoza is delicious, I could honestly list the entire menu it's all so good and they have the BEST fruit slushies and boba teas. The guys working are always super friendly and get the food out fast, hot and fresh. I seriously love Nanabi!”

“Heres the scoop, This is the best burger in Utica! Its a one man show and Jeff is fun the whole while he runs it.Its charm comes from.it being a 1 man operations and because he does it so well he earns a 5 star for being unique!I want to explain my 5 stars for atmosphere becasue it would be harder for you to find a smaller place however that again adds to the charm.I love this place!”

“Have frequented Motus on previous occasions as pre show place to have dinner. Reminds me of the NYC Midtown restaurants. I had the trout dinner which was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had. The broth fully complimented the trout. Highly recommend Motus.”

“Great spot for expresso done the right way. I was initially going for a double, but then I saw they have affogato, vanilla ice cream with coffee, so I ended up with a single and a dessert (AND a spinach pastry). Very nice atmosphere and use of the space they have, will be back next time I'm in Utica.”

“Our first time going here and it surely won't be our last. Four of us went and were seated quick. Waitress came right over and took our drink order and brought menus. We asked her questions about the dinner items and her suggestions were perfect. Service was great and the food tasted fantastic. Food was plentiful and we brought leftovers home. This restaurant is a must go to if you love great well prepared Mexican food. And for entertainment they have a robot food carrier, a first for me to see. We all really enjoyed our meals, which I also thought was extremely fair priced. We will definitely be back.”

“I stopped on a whim with my wife not realizing that this is a gluten free dairy free restaurant. When I realized that this was the case I was apprehensive because I am not on a restricted diet. So we ordered a panini and burger with fries and I was worried for no reason. The food was really good and well seasoned the fries were delicious and came with a dipping sauce. We have a few friends that will love to hear about this place. We also had a couple cupcakes which were very good also. I could tell the burger bun and cupcakes were gluten free but they were good tasting and I would not think twice about coming back again. If you have dietary restrictions this is a good place for you to try. If you don't, don't worry the food is good and you can support your family that needs this.”

“What a tremendous restaurant. We were staying in Clinton for the first time, and stumbled upon it. Just a fabulous meal, service, and ambience. Everything from the authentic sourdough bread, cider donut bread pudding was extremely memorable. We happen to be in there on St. Patrick's Day weekend, so while I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the corn beef on a regular basis, if it's any indication of the regular menu, it was stupendous. Not to mention the fact that the drinks were generous and we really appreciated the warm yet. Updated ambience. Kind of like, having a great babysitter, or Electrician. I hate to recommend Nola's too highly because I'm afraid we won't be able to just pop in next time. I would suggest reservations. Highly recommended.”

“This place serves the best food in town, and the owner is the most lovely person here. I visited a couple months ago on a long-distance bike trip with my partner, and we stumbled across Sazon Frank in Utica and it was, by far, the BEST meal we've had - the spicy stew chicken is delicious. It's a hot bar with plenty of options and you won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The owner is so sweet and you will leave with a happy belly and a happy soul! Thank you so much!”

“The lo mein was amazing and the sushi was fresh! Everything was super tasty. The price is very affordable. Pretty cozy dining atmosphere. But the outside needs some work lol we were very skeptical when we arrived there because it was so dark. We literally were thinking like “should we go in?”. But I’m glad we did! “Stopped in here after a run on the canal trail. We had 2 pepperoni slices and hot wings. Both were excellent. Pizza is NY style with a perfect crust. Wings were crispy, hot, and well seasoned.”

“I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!”

It had been two(2) years and last night we finally stopped in for dessert for the first time.
