“OMG...What a HIDDEN GEM!!!This place is very unassuming. I was not expecting much of anything, especially bcuz there was nothing on the menu that jumped out and spoke to me.I ordered the Longhots for an appetizer. During the wait for the food to come to my table, I kept seeing dish after dish coming out to other patrons, and they ALL looked amazing.I took another stab at the menu, and still nothing on those pages stood out... So, I said to myself that if this appetizer is good, then I'm eating here. It was fantastic!!!I then waved the waitress over and asked her for a recommendation. She started going over the general points of the menu, and I had to stop her and say, "I don't want to hear about the menu. What would YOU recommend?"She gave me a thumbs up on the chicken cutlet sandwich that I had told her I had my eye on and then also recommended the chicken parm rigatoni in the vodka sauce. I got both.These two meals were so amazingly delicious that I was absolutely floored.The sandwich: top marks, the cutlet was nicely thin, and so was the breading. It was also still moist, which is difficult for a hammered piece of meat like that. Again, top marks.That rigatoni though...lemme tell you what, that vodka sauce is where it's at!!! I have never had a sauce so good. Truly. I have had plenty of sauces, and plenty of vodka sauces at that. This blew everything out the water! I mean, seriously, this sauce has ruined me. I loved it that much!!I couldn't believe how wonderful the food was after having such low expectations about the unassuming restaurant itself, the menu, none of it spoke of how shockingly good the food absolutely was.”

“I was quite impressed with this restaurant. I ordered their lobster riggies "hot" and they were excellent with just the right amount of heat. The service was fantastic and exudes an old world style of dining that is becoming more difficult to find. I will definitely come back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp.”

“Total hole in the wall bar. Walk in and I am shocked with what we see. Dollar bills on every wall & ceiling. Write a note on the dollar bill and pin it to the wall. This historic spot is a definite stop for all visitors. It's a really cool, tiny place to grab a drink and relax”

“Excellent pizza!Came in since we happened to be nearby and grabbed a slice for dinner. It was tasty, huge, and cooked perfectly.I grew up outside of NYC and the slice here was almost a good as any I’ve had.The ambiance is lacking and it’s not a fancy olde but for a quick bite and a great slice I would recommend them. Counter service was also good and the staff was friendly.”

“Highway Rest Stop. Staff does get the orders out quick. We didn't wait long at all and it was crowded. The fries were ok. I find that alot of the McDonald restaurants french fries are as good as they use to be.My Big Mac was very good and my wife really liked the Quarter Pounder Delux.”

“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.”

The fried chicken is the bomb, the bao buns are amazing, the gyoza is delicious, I could honestly list the entire menu it's all so good and they have the BEST fruit slushies and boba teas. Its a one man show and Jeff is fun the whole while he runs it.Its charm comes from.it being a 1 man operations and because he does it so well he earns a 5 star for being unique!I want to explain my 5 stars for atmosphere becasue it would be harder for you to find a smaller place however that again adds to the charm.I love this place!”

“Have frequented Motus on previous occasions as pre show place to have dinner. Reminds me of the NYC Midtown restaurants. I had the trout dinner which was one of the best fish dinners I've ever had. The broth fully complimented the trout. Highly recommend Motus.”

I was initially going for a double, but then I saw they have affogato, vanilla ice cream with coffee, so I ended up with a single and a dessert (AND a spinach pastry). I visited a couple months ago on a long-distance bike trip with my partner, and we stumbled across Sazon Frank in Utica and it was, by far, the BEST meal we've had - the spicy stew chicken is delicious. “I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!”
