We will definitely be back ❤️❤️🍷🍷
I made a reservation for my best friend’s birthday and there were 10 of us in attendance and we had the best time! The drinks, food, and atmosphere were incredible! I loved the new location and the menu had something for everyone in our party. We weren’t rushed and had time to enjoy each other’s company and were served our entrees timely. We were in Utica on a Friday, after nine pm, and walked to Tailor and the Cook after reading a few good reviews online. It's a very charming and cozy space, while still feeling hip. Tailor & the Cook offers fresh food in a pleasant, relaxing space with excellent food and a great atmosphere. Standouts include the focaccia bread, Utica greens, and fries. The chicken riggies and pork belly Mac & Cheese are amazing, and the crème brûlée is phenomenal. The seasonal smash burger is excellent. The menu strikes a nice balance between seasonal specials and staple items. The atmosphere is wonderful, upscale but not formal, with a good wine selection. Prices are extremely reasonable. Service is very good with nice, informed servers. One diner noted the fig and bacon burger was dry and too salty, and another experienced a long wait for dinner with prime rib very rare and chicken dry, though the restaurant was apologetic and gave complimentary dessert.
