Great food and friendly service. The fish fry is delicious.
Family owned restaurant serving up delicious food made with love. You can tell this business owner and his staff take pride in what they offer. Food is always exceptional and portions are large. Never had a bad meal here and will continue to be a patron of this local gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was our first visit to The Brass Tack even though we live 20 minutes away. I had Seafood Riggies which were very good. The portion was huge! My bride had Fried Haddock which she stated was among the best that she has had locally. We visit Maine 2-3 times annually and have fried haddock for the majority of our meals while we are there. As a result, we tend to be particular in regards to Fried Haddock. We certainly will be visiting again.

The service is top-notch, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Known for being one of the best seafood spots in the area, their Susan's haddock is a favorite, and the huge fish fry is always cooked lightly just how customers like it. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including Chicken Riggies, calamari, shrimp cocktail, and cheesebread, making it a popular choice for families and groups. Large portions and great flavors make it a must-visit spot for delicious meals. Wheelchair accessible with a ramp available. Many customers drive from nearby towns, returning often because they always find excellent seafood and consistent quality. The owner and staff are friendly, and even newcomers feel welcome, making each visit special. The restaurant is praised for its delicious food, especially seafood, and for its welcoming atmosphere.
