I was quite impressed with this restaurant. I ordered their lobster riggies "hot" and they were excellent with just the right amount of heat. I haven't had Brass Tack in years. My first experience was amazing so I decided to give it another go and was not disappointed. One of the best seafood restaurants in the area. The breads are nice and soft, the greens are on point, the fish is perfectly tender. The tenderloin tunnel is an honorable mention. Susan's haddock is my favorite thing on the menu so far.
Stopped in for dinner on 11-10-23. I had Chicken Riggies(hot). They had great flavor, and the portion was huge. I saw what my family ordered. All their food looked fantastic, and they had plenty of it. I would go back. Saw some of the fish frys other tables had. Probably what i would order next time.
This place is a hidden Jem. The food was great and large portions at a reasonable prices. We will be back on our next trip to Herkimer.

Omg!!!!!!! 15 out of 10!!! This made my week so much better!!!!!! I got a seafood platter with Mac salad and a potato. SO Amazing! Hands down best around! And the price is almost better then the food!! Like idk what just happened just this place is my new favorite!

Four words: order the chicken riggies!They are consistently one of my favorites for riggies in the Mohawk Valley. My issue is eating here is a toss up for service; either really great or incredibly slow. One time literally everyone else in the restaurant was served (drinks/salad), including people who came in and were sat after my wife and I. The portions are incredible, but the service keeps me from going here more often.
