“We were in the mood for some Italian Comfort food on a cold Saturday night.. Arrived at 5:45, short 10 min wait at the bar with a charming bartender, quick chat with Bill, the owner and a window table was ready...Server was great.. asked if we'd like our salad and bread before appetizer...nice touch...bread was warm, buttery, crispy outside and soft inside...delicious...calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, lightly breaded and tender...drinks and bread were refilled and our Chicken Parms were ready...Good portion, great sauce, moist chicken, crisp breading, melted cheese served atop spaghetti that wasn't overcooked...the Italian Comfort we wanted was perfect...Reasonably priced, very attentive service and a very good meal...Thank you!“

“We have been here numerous times for take out, Pizzeria Italia is our go to place. They have a wide variety of menu options and although we've yet to try them all, what we have enjoyed is very good. They are consistent with quality ingredients, special requests, timely and friendly service at a very reasonable price.“

The Chicken Francaise was tender and savory with a perfect mixture of fresh veggies: brussel sprouts, zucchini, red onion, and root veggies. The service was fast even though the place was packed. “Love the food here! I typically get the chicken riggies, along with the shrimp cocktail. When they offered the crepes for delivery, I would get that too!However, I've noticed this trend where it's nearly impossible to order takeout. This has happened on multiple occasions and more often within the last few months. I find that when it is open, and I do order, the order is immediately cancelled and only then is the takeout/delivery option unavailable for the rest of the night.Again, I love the food. I'm not going out to dinner alone, however, and it's consistently disappointing when you're craving the ever-so delicious Ancora riggies only to have your dinner plans pulled from you with no explanation.“
“GRADE A+! I got the Chicken Riggie dinner last night!! For a very reasonable $16, you got a HUGE portion of their outstanding chicken riggies, garden salad, and garlic bread!! That was damn tasty riggies! I also got a slice of cheese pizza...which was big, hot, and fresh! This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and was well worth the money! I couldn't even finish the riggies, because you get a huge portion...Much bigger than 95 percent of restaurants selling riggies!! I spoke to the owner Brandon after my dinner to personally thank him for a great meal at a very reasonable cost!! He takes much pride in the products that he sells!! HE is the kind of owner that you want selling food!! To anyone that never ate food at Giovanni's Pizzeria in Clinton...please try it now!!! I guarantee you'll love it!!“
