We sampled many appetizers including the oysters (MUST GET, trust me), calamari, antipasto, Italian greens, fried provolone bruschetta. The only time our table stopped chatting lol is because the appetizers were that good.Our dinners came properly after our apps. My party ordered off the main menu and the special menu entrees. “Love the food here! I typically get the chicken riggies, along with the shrimp cocktail. When they offered the crepes for delivery, I would get that too!However, I've noticed this trend where it's nearly impossible to order takeout. This has happened on multiple occasions and more often within the last few months. I find that when it is open, and I do order, the order is immediately cancelled and only then is the takeout/delivery option unavailable for the rest of the night.Again, I love the food. I'm not going out to dinner alone, however, and it's consistently disappointing when you're craving the ever-so delicious Ancora riggies only to have your dinner plans pulled from you with no explanation.“

“Recently moved to the area and stopped by this place on a whim. Upon entering was hit with this amazing smell. After enquiring of it's source we were directed to their sausage rolls. Grabbed a Sicilian sausage roll for my family and trust me when I say it was more than enough food to feed three of us for pretty cheap too!“
“We arrived at Marr-Logg around 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday. When we arrived, we were immediately acknowledged and greeted by a server. We took our seats. There were plenty of booths and tables to choose from. They appear to have three rows of booths with tables in the middle of the aisles, allowing them to accommodate a large number of people at once. I was concerned that if the restaurant was small and we arrived at 8 a.m., it would already be crowded, but this was not the case.Our server informed us that she would be the only server for a short period of time until more servers arrived. It is unusual for the server to give you a heads up, so we appreciated her doing so.I ordered the standard fare of two eggs, juice, home fries, bacon, and Italian toast. The server asked if I wanted soft or hard crust Italian bread; I had no idea what the difference was, and she said she preferred the hard crust; it's a "East Utica thing," so I went with her recommendation. The toasts were delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the texture was fluffy and delicious.I prefer my home fries deep fried, but they only cook them on the grill, so I requested crispy potatoes. My potatoes were not as crispy as requested, but they were perfectly seasoned and cooked throughout (not hard, as if it hadn't finished cooking), so I didn't mind.The portion was neither too small nor too large—it was just right and filled me up! It is usually hard to get full with breakfast food, but I left satisfied!The prices were reasonable.I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast! ??“
“Rosa’s catered our Mystery dinner theater on Saturday September 23rd and I have to tell you it was the best food we ever ate. Joe was the nicest person to deal with and that meant a lot. He was willing to stay until 5:00 for us to pick up the food. Everything we ate was sooo delicious. The food was hot, tasty, moist and enjoyable. Joe took his time with me to figure out how much we needed and he was spot on. I will definitely be going back for our future parties. All of the people at the party were asking who cooked the food. From the ziti, potatoes, chicken, huge meatballs, sausage and peppers and even the salad every bit of it was delicious. I give it 10 stars. Thanks Joe for making our dinner a success!“

“O'Scugnizzo's offers a pizza like no other. The pizza sauce is on top of the pizza and with cheese and other toppings underneath. Some call it upside down pizza, it should just be called "Great!" There is a reason this place has been open for over 100 years and is the second oldest pizzeria in the US.The chicken riggies are also another unique Utica regional food which is a must try. Restaurant service was very good and staff was friendly. Make sure to see the photos of the original owner of the restaurant from 1914. This place a must stop if you are visiting Utica.Parking: The restaurant has it's parking lot and it looks like you can park for free on the streets near it.“
“Food was pretty good. The pizza and wings really hit the spot. Usually I like a thinner pizza, but I felt like something thicker, & from their pics the pizza looked perfect. I was right. It was exactly what I had in mind. Only complaint with the pizza is that the peppers seemed not so fresh, but that didn't really take away from the pizza at all (I will say I was suprised at how small the medium was). Even the crust was fantastic. The everything wings were pretty great as well, though the blue cheese in the sauce was practically nonexistent, which is one of my fav things about everything sauce! They followed special instructions no prob, food was out quick for being dinner time. I see lots of complaints about customer service, and I'll admit I haven't experienced any to judge one way or the other, but I can say the food was definitely up to par; and I have very high pizza standards ?“
“Stopped in on the way back home from Syracuse. Googled best chicken riggies in Utica and Bella Regina kept coming up. Perfect location right off of the thruway exit! Boy we're we in for a treat. We had the Riggies with Shrimp, Haddock Parm & Chicken Marsala. Each of the meals were incredible. Let's just say the reviews online claiming they had the best riggies in Utica were spot on. These riggies were unbelievable! If your passing by Utica and are in the mood for some delicious Italian, I would definitely check this place out! We can't wait to until the next trip so that we can stop in!“
“It’s a Utica thing kitchen and bar is definitely worth it.. now the location is deceiving don’t look like much but walk in the door you will be surprised.. I was dying for chicken riggies and it’s hard to find good ones a lot of places will say they make good or the best but I know good riggies and they fall short BUT THIS PLACE YUP NAILED IT!! My husband had eggplant parm use to it coming w/a side pasta so that was lacking they gave bread with your meal which was delicious and warm. The salad was good but everything is Al la carte. For the two of us with main dish side salad and my husband had a soda it was 54$..“
“We went there years ago and there were a lot of mix-ups, good food but again a lot of mix-ups. Went there for lunch with my wife and got purses in a cream sauce. And Utica greens and a Sicilian appetizer platter. Very good. I would definitely go back.“

“I had been told several times to try out Old School and I'm so glad I did tonight. 6 of us went before an event for an early dinner and were promptly seated by Sara, an absolutely fantastic server. I'd recommend trying out a $4 cosmo for happy hour. It was fantastic and didn't taste like a $4 drink! If a place has a fried bologna sandwich on their menu, I'm getting it, and I have to say, Old School's was one of the best I've had in a long time. The roll it was on was brushed with garlic butter which was a great touch. I'll definitely be back for it. Everyone I was with was happy with their orders. It definitely has a bar feel to it, but it's not crowded or cramped and is clean. I am looking forward to my next trip there!“

“First time here. Waitress was phenomenal, we were cared for as if we were only ones there(and we definitely weren't). I had the buffalo chicken, and my husband had the pulled pork with sweet potato fries. Meat was juicy, lg sandwich, and we both eating his fries, they were that good. No dip needed. We stop here every time we go to Portland from Ohio. This is now a definite each time“
“We decided to try this place out for my father in laws birthday since I saw a great review in the Gluten Free Facebook group. They really do have the best gluten free pizza and awesome service! There is just one or two tables to eat as it is mostly take out right now. Hope they will turn it into a restaurant in the future.“
