The food at Danielle’s is very good, but the staff are so unkind that I will never set foot in the place again. I tried to order on DoorDash and then had a relative call to see if they were open to get food for a family member who just had major surgery. They said they were opened and never mentioned any issues. When I came they said there would be no hot food ordering for an hour and one woman was SO rude to me that I literally could not believe it. Cafe Sinopoli Imports formerly Daniele Imports is a nice, authentic place. The workers are very nice, and the staff is really pleasant. The place looked clean. Parking is difficult, especially when it’s busy. The food is great and spectacular. The tomato pie is a little bit different than what some are used to, but still quite good. The crust is excellent, not soggy but also not hard, with great flavor. However, the sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce and was a bit strong with the oregano, not that classic tomato pie taste. Excellent excellent sandwiches include the Fiorentino Pinini with homemade potato chips and a pickle spear, chicken parm sub, and Italian cold cut sub. The spicy and non spicy meatballs have authentic flavors of spice, herbs, and a slight taste of cheese. Sauce, pasta, and desserts to take home are also phenomenal. The customer service is beyond exceptional, like a genuine family engagement.
