“Second oldest pizzeria in the United States, not your typical pizza, it's upside down, toppings and cheese underneath the sauce. Absolutely love it, every time I'm passing down the Thruway I do my best to stop and get myself a nice pie from this place. Reasonably priced, old school atmosphere, I usually get it to go, you get plenty of pizza for a large, rectangular shape, cash is cheaper than card, had a little problem getting through to them on the phone, that was my only issue. If you want a really good old school pizza, this is where you go. Often imitated but never duplicated. Even though it's almost 2 hours away from my house, I get by the area two or three times a year, and it's always on the top of places to stop at on my journeys. Pizza is really filling, I usually have a quick slice or two with a friend when I pick it up, then I bring the rest home and reheat it as needed, and tastes just as good. It would be great if they were a franchise, but honestly I don't know how that would go over and I don't think it's something they'd really want to do. I also Saw somebody order some wings, and I've never had them but they looked right, they looked correct and well made. Might try them next time. Props to all of you that work there and bring this great pizza for over a hundred years to Upstate, Central and Western New York.“

“My family and I loved this little place. Stopped by here on a whim traveling through town, and were pleasantly surprised. Subs, pizza and pasta were all great, and the staff was excellent, especially the front of the house. Inside was small, but clean. Only knock is no public restrooms, but I get why they wouldn't be open. Would definitely recommend this place!“

“My husband grew up in Utica and we were in town visiting his family, my first visit to this city. I'm born and raised in Boston. I was a little skeptical at first. Boston has a very good reputation for quality pizza in our North End section. I must say this pizza is 5 star award winning pizza in my book! Love the thin crust!

“Service was amazing, done right on time and the food is cooked to perfection, so here’s the thing I already paid for my food and a 2 liter but then after paying for it I wanted a separate small soda, so I wanted to get that and a celery and blue cheese but I only had card, so one guy tells me there was a 15$ limit when it comes to the card I had no problem with it so I said oh nvm it’s okay , but I don’t remember the other guys name but he basically gave me the soda I wanted to buy and just had a pure smile, definitely made my night, definitely the best service.
