“My husband and I visited here for the first time today. Upon entering it looked fine but a bit outdated (especially the bathroom). We were greeted right away by our server. She was very nice but definitely seemed stressed (they are looking for help). My husband ordered the chefs special I believe it was (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, bacon and toast) and I ordered the country fried steak (2 eggs, homefries, a biscuit, country fried steak with sausage gravy). I thought my meal was very good and I would definitely order again. Good size portion, very filling. My husband liked everything but the pancakes. He said they were rubbery like (similar to frozen pancakes or the hotel ones) I did mention it to the waitress, she said they are homemade and offered to have them remade or even take $ off for them. We declined and he ate them as we were hungry. We’d definitely eat there again, just wouldn’t get the pancakes. For the 2 of us it was about $32 before tip (pretty average)“
