“This is one of the only fast casual chains I really like. Panera’s are all over the country and their menu tries hard to tilt towards healthy. I’ve been going to this specific location since it opened - many, many times. There was a period of like 2 years where I basically had a mango smoothie (still so good) every other day. Everything is always clean and it has excellent public restrooms if you’re looking for some place to stop in New Hartford. Lots of comfortable seating and you can sit as long as you want. There’s also outdoor seating in the summer. Due to how accessible the chain is I consider Panera a good option for sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and of course the infamous broccoli chedder soup (just try it). However, I continue to be disappointed that they stopped making their bread fresh in-house daily.“

“What an absolutely delightful experience going into this charming shop on our stay in Utica! We were drawn in by the reviews, and quickly saw it was well deserved, the service was amazing, the young men working there delightful, and unique offerings for very reasonable prices. “My husband and I visited here for the first time today. Upon entering it looked fine but a bit outdated (especially the bathroom). We were greeted right away by our server. She was very nice but definitely seemed stressed (they are looking for help). My husband ordered the chefs special I believe it was (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, bacon and toast) and I ordered the country fried steak (2 eggs, homefries, a biscuit, country fried steak with sausage gravy). I thought my meal was very good and I would definitely order again. Good size portion, very filling. My husband liked everything but the pancakes. He said they were rubbery like (similar to frozen pancakes or the hotel ones) I did mention it to the waitress, she said they are homemade and offered to have them remade or even take $ off for them. We declined and he ate them as we were hungry. We’d definitely eat there again, just wouldn’t get the pancakes. For the 2 of us it was about $32 before tip (pretty average)“
