I get carry out from Great Wall 2-3 times a week. I like their food, they don't use a lot of soy sauce so the food is not overly salty. The people behind the counter are friendly. The dining area is marginal if you're looking for a dining in experience, expect very simple and basic.

I ordered the bourbon chicken to go. It was dry and overcooked there were a lot of pieces of chicken with fat/Cartledge. The sauce was very sweet. I usually get good food here the general tso’s sweet and sour chicken Sesame seed chicken. I was disappointed with the food ,It will be a while before I order here again.

The shrimp toast was full of grease and grossly soggy on the inside. I also ordered vegetable egg rolls that were not freshly cooked but came out of a refrigerator and reheated under a broiler and which barely had any filling. The hot and spicy shrimp was basically 1% tiny shrimp, a couple of oversized broccoli florets, each of which takes two or three bites to consumed and 98% chopped onions. I ate a few bites and decided not to eat a plate of onions for my lunch. Even the hot mustered was not hot. Unbelievable! It goes without saying, I through it all out!You people give a bad name to your great country with great food. If you want to sell your food for a living then take pride in what you do or shut down, go home and end this charade!!

I feel like all they did was toss some chicken nuggets in some gelled sauce. Literally both my dishes looked like they were slid from a can. Egg rolls were taken from a cooler next to the soda cooler, all I have to say is never again. My advice is go next door to Price chopper and by some frozen Chinese to cook

minus zero stars!! expect an ill digestive system!! worst Chinese food ever! we eat Chinese three times a week all within 50 miles of Schoharie-THIS IS THE WORST!!! All Chinese is a hit or miss as they change cooks regularly and their English is very poor. Great Wall-Cobleskill is good (Price Chopper Plaza)-East Wok (Hannaford Plaza Wolf Road) Very Very Good. Middleburg Chinese is good (but not constantly).

The General Tso's Tofu and the Crab Rangoons were good. It was my first time coming here. I'd come back.

i go there maybe once a month. Each time I order the same thing, small boneless ribs, 1 pint white rice and 2 shrimp rolls. Last time I went I wasn't paying attention and was charged $28 on my bank card. Today I went again and the bill was $18.00. The bill should be $15 plus tax but they tack $2 if you don't pay with cash. My advice to you is pay attention. Check the prices on the menu and before you pay ask how much and pay with cash.

We've ate there in the past and the food was ok. This time, not so much. I ordered a pork egg roll, an order of shrimp toast, an order of teriyaki beef sticks, a quart of wonton soup and a garlic chicken lunch special with fried rice. Almost nothing was edible and $36 wasted. The egg roll was just ok. The wonton soup was so flavorless and watered down that it wasn't good. The shrimp toast was somehow way overcooked yet some of the "toast" was soggy bread that didn't sit in the oil long enough to get crispy. The beef sticks were like charred jerky with almost no sauce/flavor except for the burnt bitterness. The only thing I was ok with was the garlic chicken with rice but it was missing most of the vegetables that belong in it. Never again, lesson learned, avoid like the plague.

All Chinese food places are not created equal.

Disappointed to say the least. We were in the area and decided to try it out. I placed my order in the restaurant and went over the order to make sure it was correct. I ordered 2 meals, soup, 1 appetizer and a side. They shorted us one meal. When I called, they said they never heard me say it. The food tasted ok. I’m a huge fan of wonton soup and surprisingly I really liked theirs. Unfortunately there was a hair deep in my chicken and broccoli, so I didn’t eat the rest.

This place should be called The Great Wait Chinese Restaurant. Never again! I was told that my order would br ready in 30 minutes. Got there at 35 minutes after I called in the order. The line was out the door. I called and tried to cancel my order. Lady said come inside my order id ready. Still made me wait for 50 minutes. I really should have gone next store to the pizza place, but my partner convinced me it should only be a few more minutes. The lady kept answering the phone AND telling people only 20 to 30 minutes!!! Never ever again.

Specifically I’ve only ever had take out. It may be amazing dine in, and I wouldn’t know. So for those getting take out, this is my review on take out only. It’s ok. Most the dishes aren’t the way we have had them at other places. Some things that are almost always good: sweet and sour pork, wonton soup, crab rangoons, egg rolls, and lo mein. The chicken, beef, and pork main dishes are a hit and miss. Sometimes they’re great other times they’re mushy, dry, or not well seasoned. We eat here because it’s in town and frankly going outside of town for food can be a pain.I recommend if you’re just not wanting fast food, and accept that it is what it is.Parking: Parking is great if you choose to dine in, lots of space in the strip mall area for parking.
