Rubbin Butts Bar-B-Q

Working in the area and came across this place. I’ve been on the hunt for the best BBQ pork Mac and cheese around and this place by far takes the title. Everything about the meal was outstanding and I will 100% be coming back!

Went in for lunch and we got the pistol Pete burger cooked to perfection as well as an order of hot boneless wings which were very good as well. Great flavor on both orders. The owner himself brought us our order which was also nice. Played a few games of pool and enjoyed a great meal.

Very delicious meals, BIG portions. The staff is very friendly, helpful and easy going. Loved it here, they have lots of variety on their menu.

the name caught our attention and we figured we would come in. the server was so nice and the food came out hot and delicious. would recommend for anyone as they have a menu that fits mostly anyone’s taste!

I called and placed an order an hour before closing time. The girl who answered the phone sounded tired, uninterested, and like she was doing ne a favor answering. Signed the receipt and had the food thrown at me in a bag, completely missing my daughter's order I paid for, called when I got home and oops its 2 minutes to closing and No answer! Where's my mozzarella sticks? I have the signed copy of receipt and she kept the itemized receipt. Probably ate my 6 year olds food. Not coming back here.

Passing through on I-88 and was in the mood for BBq. I had a pulled chicken sandwich that was amazing. Seems like more of a takeaway restaurant, but it was a nice break from the road to eat there.

This place was a huge disappointment the brisket was cut and dry like if I ordered deli meat. The beans were dry. The ribs were dry the corn bread was frozen in the middle. The service blew we had to get up to order beer. Even tho we were at a table. The people who play pool. This place deserves not a single star it deserves to be shut down. I never have in my 29 years written a review on anything. This was that bad!!!!!! Don't go at all

Stopped by to grab a bite as we drove through town, and got the Rubbin butts nachos and their pick two plate. The nachos were very good, the chicken was tender and well flavored. I got brisket and sausage on my pick two, and both were very juicy and flavorful. Will definitely be going there again.

Really good food. The nachos are made with kettle cooked chips and the same cheese sauce as the mac 'n cheese. We'll definitely be back!

We stopped by after visiting the Iroquois Museum. Kid friendly foods and atmosphere. Our dinner was outstanding. Texas twinkies, Austin Midnight, BBQ mac-n-cheese, Fish Fry and the Classic burger were all excellent. We will be back!

Bland and dry. don’t waste the money on Texas Twinkie's, either make them yourself or take the trip to Texas to get real ones. Ruben was decent, friend threw out the fajita’s after eating half of one. I’m usually one to give a place another shot but after seeing all the reviews I think one time is enough.

Atmosphere is awesome. Clean restaurant things to do. Food on the other hand isn't as good. I got a shaved rib eye sub and there was no flavor. It was dry.
