A Delaware Water Gap gem. No frills service and a casual, rustic-modern dining room and bar are enough to make this place a regular stop. But the perfectly executed, very accessible (my kids called this the best restaurant they’ve ever been to) menu make this place a real standout. Don’t sleep on the Mac and cheese.

We were on vacation for a week and randomly drove by this place and decided to stop in. It became our vacation staple and we ate here as often as we could. Carly was a treasure. It was a delightful surprise, and we will be returning to the area from 3 hours away just to come back to eat.

What a fun evening at the Cochecton Fire Station.
First -- what a delightful, sweet, and knowledgeable staff. They hustle with good humor, generous spirit and a warm, professional feel. Second -- cocktails. We've had a few in our time and this is the first time in a long time that we've been surprised -- pleasantly (okay, more than pleasantly). The selection, the thoughtfulness, the technique. Lovely. Third, the food. It might not seem like much when you're looking at the menu, but trust us, it's great. We had pork, romaine, white bean and...the potato. Each tasteful, interesting, and a bit unexpected. Totally satisfying. Fourth, the atmosphere. I'm giving it 5 stars. Of course, this will depend on what you're looking for but I would say it totally works. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed being there. The vibe is comfortable, unpretentious, easy and fun.

Carly was THE BEST We have seen behind the bar locally.. the MOST pleasant person you would ever want to meet and damn if this little lady doesn’t know her cocktails then i dunno who does! Fantastic all day!! As for dining.. while a limited menu, they offer a Great skirt steak, mac-n-cheese (with or without lobster!) rice n beans.. delicious!! Other items and dishes to go are also offered. Thanks Carly for turning a dreary rainy afternoon into a wonderful time! Tommy says thanks for the Tshirt! 😁

Really happy to have had lunch here the other day. Walked in and was greeted by very friendly staff, the bartender was clearly a level 10 master mixologist who made fantastic drinks. A well thought concept and atmosphere with local history and great food, even the people who work here have personal ties to this Fire Station. I look forward to going back.
