The customer service was great! The drinks and food we received were amazing and original! Definitely a cute place to go! I 100% recommend!
The manager was very rude…she was backed up with limited staff..I informed her I was a bartender if she needed help..she told me she would never hire me in front of multiple people…I ordere chicken wings..ate one and immediately puked, showed her that my chicken was raw and she began to tell me to get out of her establishment. Kelsey was very rude and I will never be going there again
On this brunch adventure it just so happened to be a day there was a DJ. Small but lovely place.Mimosa flight ordered for daughter. Virgin mimosa flight for grand princess. And of course for me Bloody Mary flight. None of them were quite spicy even the jalapeno one but all had a nice flavor. Added a bit of S&P to three of them. The bacon one was the sweeter one I believe so nothing needed. The girls ordered the breakfast sharkcoochie board. Had a wonderful mix of items. They also spilt a BEC on a croissant to which the grand princess gave the chef 120 stars. I had the chicken and waffle sliders. Chicken was a bit dry and mixed with the waffles definitely needed a bit more syrup. I believe there was a drizzle of honey on the plate which was a nice touch. I also got the little donut skewers which were delicious and a side of bacon that was crispy and good. The DJ did song bingo with different genre's - I sucked at all rounds even though I knew the songs my cards didn't win.Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The bathroom mirror had an awesome sign that I wish I took a picture of. Very uplifting and positive.Very nice restaurant with good food and drinks.
Tried CM before a show at Cohoes Music Hall. The atmosphere is open and bright with a super cool vibe. We had the margarita flights which were fresh and delicious. The food was wonderful, though, we overdid it on the apps! The chicken and waffle sliders (chicken was perfectly fried) and caprese sandwich were amazing. The staff was super attentive, and the owner took the time to introduce herself to all the guests while ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves. Highly recommended!
Cafe Monocle is more than a great place for a delicious al fresco brunch & cocktails. The waitstaff is warm & incredibly pet-friendly. When they learned my dog Mabel was celebrating her birthday, they brought her biscuits slathered with peanut butter, a bowl of ice water and lavished her with affection. We’ll definitely be back next time we go to Peebles Island for a hike. Thank you!
The food was amazing atmosphere was a lot of fun. The Mimosa flights were really good. My favorite the Strawberry Mojito!
5 stars loved this place food was great service was amazing Coffee flight delicious..and bingo was so much fun ill be back again and again
We went for the cocktail and charcuterie class. The blueberry basil moscow mule was amazing and refreshing. There were huge portions of meat and cheese. We were able to snack and drink and still had a ton to bring home. The owner was great and very friendly. They also do brunch and the menu sounded good. I'd certainly go back.
We had reservations for 6 people at 10am. We arrived and we’re greeted with a warm welcome immediately. Stone was our server and he was wonderful!! We sat at the table and placed a drink order while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The coffee flight and mimosa flight were great! We placed our food order around 10:45am. We received our beignets a short while after that but weren’t served our meals until 12pm. The wait was a bit longer than we had hoped for but the staff was apologetic and kept on top of our drinks and checked-in with us. We got the churro French toast and chicken&waffles. The French toast was perfect but the chicken&waffles was a little overdone. We will definitely be back again to give it another try.
We got drink flights that were good but we ordered alcoholic flights and the coffee one had no alcohol. Then we ordered our food at 11:30 and ended up leaving at 1:45 because our food still hadn’t come out yet. Our server was nice and the DJ doing bingo was cool but they definitely should have had more people scheduled for Saturday brunch. We left and went elsewhere instead because we were starving .

Sorry, no photos as I can't wait to dig in. We usually time our visits to Bye-I brewery to when this is the restaurant that is delivered. The food has been excellent evrytime, balance of seasoning with each dish is phenomenal. The French fries are a standout example. Maybe we'll go to the restaurant sometime, but no hurry so long as it is available at our favorite brewery.
The drinks were wonderful. We had the mimosa flight, cucumber mule, and orange crush. We also ate beneits which were delicious, and they were perfect for sharing. There was a DJ and it was a fun atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.
My review is not related to the food or service. My granddaughter wanted to go to Cafe Monocle for a Saturday lunch. I was asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. We were willing to wait, but not offered a time or to wait. it was crowded and felt uncomfortable, so we left. I haven't heard of needing a reservation at a cafe. Maybe this was a covid issue? Cohoes has a family history for her and she had seen the cafe and thought it looked cool. I try to support local businesses so would have liked to try it.
Funky bistro with great music and an interesting menu. Great place for a girlfriend lunch or just for a relaxing Sunday brunch. I passed on brunch and went right for a treat of Tiamisu. Two nice slices and whip cream.
Wanted to visit this place for awhile and I'm disappointed that I did. They shouldn't have cafe in their name because they couldn't do most normal coffee drinks. They didn't have the coffee flight which is the main reason I went and also didn't have any espresso. The food wasn't bad but took an hour for a bacon egg and cheese sanwhich and churro french toast. The french toast didn't have any brown sugar or cinnamon so it was just normal. They did have the mimosa flight which was average. The women's restroom door doesn't lock which made my wife uncomfortable so i had to stand in front of it. I probably won't visit again.
