Stopped by while on a road trip. This is absolutely the kind of place you should go out of your way to stop at. The food is flawless. The people running the place were incredibly kind. 5 star everything!
Why didn't I come here sooner? I walked by this place one day and it smelled great and I reminded myself to stop by. Once I did, boy was the food tasty as hell. Going to go through their entire menu. So far, nothing has disappointed me.
I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I had the bangsilog (fried fish) and my wife had the chicken adobo. Both were incredible. Top 5 fried fish I've ever had. It was so flavorful and crisp. I ate everything. Like everything other than the tail fin. The fry was so thorough, I crunched the head into crumbles and ate it with the garlic rice. (Highly recommend)
And the rice! A lot of places just dish out plain rice. Not Chee-bog. The garlic rice on the side was amazing. A great touch.
The adobo sauce was not watery, and it was LOADED with flavor. The chicken was incredibly moist. They nailed it.
Small shop, and you can order on your phone before you arrive. We ordered there, and it took about 25 minutes to get our food.
I will definitely be returning.

Feels like you’re eating at your friend’s house if they also happened to have a commercial kitchen. Amazing Filipino food made the right way, tastes like my Lola made it. Super friendly service, the whole experience made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. A must!

Every time I come to eat here I’m greeted with a smile, I’ve only been to Chee - Bog twice but they already know my name and I feel very welcomed. The staff are not only kind but they are also very skilled because MAN is this food delicious!! I try something new every time I come here and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Wow. I am seriously impressed. As a newcomer to Filipino food…that was some of the more interesting and flavorful food I’ve had in the Albany area lately. It is homestyle in presentation, but you can tell they pay a lot of attention to detail. Little things like garnishing the rice with fried garlic bits. The pork belly (lechon kawali) and grilled pork (inihaw baboy) stood out in particular. Definitely will be ordering again. It would be great to see this place grow into a larger footprint…I would love to be able to sit down and try everything when it’s hot off the grill!
Hands down, the best eatery in the whole capital region of NY. Everything I have ever ordered is always amazing. I have been a returning customer for almost a year now, and guaranteed will keep coming back for as long as I live in the region. The owner and the cooks are also always kind to their customers no matter how busy they are. Thank you for being a good food oasis in the region!
The food was fantastic. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend to anyone. I would have taken a picture but I enjoyed my meal so much I couldn’t put my fork down. My family and I will be back soon. Thanks for such a wonderful meal.

Google states the store is open but no one was answering their phone. Just a man’s voicemail that sounded like a personal phone. So we drove for an hour to get food for a party and it was closed.
