Not only were the staff very inviting but even the regulars that were there seemed very friendly. I had a burger with fries and my sister had a steak sandwich with fries. We both were very happy with our meals and will definitely suggest to our family and friends to go to this wonderful little restaurant.

Atmosphere is less than a 1 star.We were the only table. The bar had four guys that were clearly friends of the guy running it. Wreaked of marijuana, they were vaping at the bar .This is the kinda of place that gives dives their name.I would NEVER GO BACK!

At first, we didn't have high hopes as we had lots of difficulty confirming that they were open. Even drive to their location to find out they were unexpectedly closed... But when we finally was able to dine there, we changed our minds. The staff was very laid back. Food was good (even though it was a little overcooked). Atmosphere wise-it offered local pub style vibes but had better lighting with more contemporary seating in the back. They even had some live music in the front. Even though we were expecting a below-average experience, we have changed our minds and are planning on going back for another experience someday.

This was my first time trying this place and I was very disappointed. I ordered a Sirloin Steak Entree (medium-well) and they don't know what medium well means. My steak was VERY pink inside and VERY under-seasoned. The Mac and cheese was disgraceful, the noodles were very overcooked and mushy and it tasted like they just poured Velveeta cheese over them. My baked potato was alright, they did cook it through, but it came with nothing, not even butter. The "full" rack of ribs was laughable, nowhere near a full rack, I'm glad I didn't order it (my sister did and she didn't care for them). I'm sorry, but I won't be ordering from here again.

The food is always amazing, and no matter if it's the bartender or the server on that night no matter who's taking care of you both of them are amazing! Last time we stuck around for Matty D's karaoke and had a blasty blast. With prices going up on everything nowadays it's hard to really find the reason to or a place to go to, so if you can fit in your budget definitely check out Donnie Magoo's! Try seafood fondue!!!

Two very nice small town bar with good food and very friendly people. I'm glad I got a chance to stop in.
Perfectly cooked steak and delicious buffalo chicken dip. Great bar.i came for their Drag show which was wonderful. The Drag performers were entertaining and witty and everyone had a great time. Will definitely be back. Hope they continue the shows with these seasoned performers.

Came here for the first time to meet friends and grab a quick dinner before seeing Jimmy Dore at the Cohoes Music Hall. The food was amazing, and they did a great job of accommodating our group. I've been back a few times since, and my experience has remained the same. I definitely would recommend this establishment. Their food is fresh, well prepared, and the Reubens are to die for, as are the fish and chips! (Potato chips and French fries are made in-house)

What can you say about Donny Magoos. Seriously what can you say? besides pretty cool place friendly people good drinks at reasonable prices, and always a little craziness going on for entertainment.

Cool vibe here. We usually head down here after Rock the Block in Cohoes.... wish they served food later on those nights!! Nice little patio area out back and they frequently have live music!

A group of us had dinner here before a show at The Cohoes Music Hall. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Several of us had the salad, others a variety of other options. Everyone loved the fries. Parking was adequate (one of us was handicapped) and it was a short walk to the hall. I'll dine here again.
