My wife has a gluten allergy and we have to pay special attention to where we eat out. Spindle City Pizza is now a one stop shop for all things gluten free, not just pizza. Now one of our top spots.
I’m editing my review I still haven’t picked up the food because my order is for tomorrow for the Super Bowl special but I just wanted to give a shout out to getting a call back from leaving a message and not being able to get through all day yesterday. Being able to place the Super Bowl order for pizza and wings! thank you very much for giving me a call back and once I get to taste all the yummy food tomorrow I’m positive I can update the food and atmosphere to start five stars also thank you!

This place has the best gluten free pizza in the capital region by far, but the past three or four times I’ve ordered the crust has not been the same. They said they got their usual gf dough back but it was hard as rock tonight and definitely does not compare to the old one. The gf wings were amazing as usual and my boyfriend loves the non gf pizza, just disappointed! I look forward to it as a treat every few weeks but I’m gonna have to take a break from the pizza at least, because it’s just consistently lacking.

Tried this place for the first time over the weekend after seeing the great reviews on Google, but was still a little skeptical after trying some other lackluster pizza places in the area in past years. I was blown away how delicious and fresh the Sweet and Spicy pie was- even after delivery it was still piping hot. The contact-free delivery was super easy and quick within the allotted timeframe, too. Will definitely be ordering again!!

Finally! An establishment that doesn't taste like the other seven thousand pizza places in the area. Product CONSISTANTLY maintains the highest quality regardless of timing & the owners/staff are extremely nice people. "Food Network" would be proud!

They’re a hole in the wall, and they’re absolutely amazing. The customer service was great when I went and the food is quick to come out. I worked with a woman and she helped make sure I had everything I needed before I left!

I ordered the same cheese pizza & garlic knots today (10/1/23) that I ordered on 9/12/23. Today's pizza was so spicy I couldn't eat more than a half of a slice. Hopefully today was a fluke.
I am new to the area and decided to check out local pizza places. After being disappointed by Dom's, Spindle City was my next stop. I got a large pepperoni pizza (which I was able to conveniently order online). The pizza was ready a few minutes earlier than anticipated - always better than being late. When I arrived, I was surprised at how small the location was (no area for indoor dining, etc.) but anyone can tell you some of the best places are like that. There was a young woman working (solo by the looks of it) and she was pleasant during our brief interaction. The pizza itself was good with a couple small issues. I would have preferred more typically-sized pepperoni. The large pieces weren't difficult to eat but did contain more "grease" per bite than I think smaller pieces would. The biggest issue was that the bottom of the pizza was underdone - pale and floppy, especially in the center of the pizza. But the crust was thin, so it didn't affect it too much. Other than that, the top of the pizza was cooked well, the sauce was tasty (not sweet, which I like) and there was a good ratio of ingredients. I'll have to try a different pizza here soon.
