Got a burger with mushrooms on my way home to VT from Utica. It was good. $15. Water was a dollar. 20-25 minute wait despite (or due to?) being the only person ordering food (around 2:30 pm). There was a small crowd at the bar, everyone seemed like family.
Riding my Harley from Buffalo to VT and stumbled across this place in the middle of NOWHERE! It was past lunch and we were starving. Only a few vehicles in the parking lot, and from the outside the place didn't look like much, but we were hungry and gave it a try. Glad we did! Mixed drinks were very reasonably priced, and the burger with sautéed mushrooms was 🔥. We had 2 burgers with fries, 1 beer and 2 mixed drinks for 50 bucks. Not bad in my opinion. Bartender...
We got caught in a snow storm and managed to pull into Haskells in near white out conditions. We're not from the area, and after listening to the radio for a bit it seemed like we wouldn't be able to travel much the rest of the day. I headed inside to ask about any hotels or motels in the area, and everyone was so nice!
