We showed up with a group of about 20 on a Friday at lunch. We were driving through town and needed a place for a group and, boy, are we glad we found Ohio Tavern. They accommodated our noisy group and the service and food were fantastic. I had the special, a hot honey pimento cheese fried chicken sandwich and it was out of this world. Cold beers, top notch service, and a great menu with all kinds of options. Everything we tried was amazing. Cannot recommend Ohio Tavern enough. If you’re in the area, check them out.

Stopped Saturday 10/12 and had Gavin as my server.I was waited on immediately and he was a great waiter...friendly,attentive and good natured.I had the Texas BBQ burger and fries and they were both perfect for what I wanted.The inside is also decorated for the Halloween/Fall season.Note the bat curtains.I will be back soon even though I live in Malta.

My fiancé and I had rented a cabin close by so we could visit family in the area while enjoying the beautiful Adirondacks.
This place being close by was great. Probably ate dinner here three times during our stay. The Tavern Burger is amazing. Onion Petals are great as well. But their specials are where it’s at, great creativity and certainly more than you’d expect from a tavern in the woods. Haha. We’ll be back no doubt. I’d love to see draught lines here at some point.
