Once again, Rocky's on the Lake proved to be a fantastic spot for dinner. Their appealing menu, excellent service, and reasonable prices, combined with the stunning lakefront scenery, make it a true home run. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience! Brian Jude Loiacono
My family absolutely Loves Rocky's! The Rocky's Black & Bleu burgers were absolutely on point last night!
It's a nice set up and we were very happy to be seated next to the window with a view of the lake. There were some nice drink specials and while the menu is extensive there was a very limited number of vegetarian choices. The kitchen was able to do a pasta dish with sauteed vegetables. Waitress was pleasant but seemed to have too many tables to give good service. Prices were reasonable. Porch area where we were was very noisy once the tables were filled. We will come back again but on a busy Saturday more help with the tables would have improved the experience. And perhaps for future some noise cancellation treatments on the ceiling.
Restaurant Review — A Cautionary Tale Twice Over! One year ago, I left this restaurant vowing never to return after a Father's Day dinner that went from bad to worse. Against my better judgment, I gave it another chance this year. I regret to report that it has somehow managed to decline even further — a feat I didn't think possible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that time management is a foreign concept here. Despite a mostly empty dining room, we sat neglected for 26 minutes before anyone bothered to take a drink order. When the drinks finally appeared — a full 35 minutes later — my wife had already made an embarrassing trek to the bar to retrieve her father's beverage herself. On Father's Day. For a United States veteran. The neglect only escalated. It took over an hour to place our food order in a restaurant that could hardly be described as busy. When the food did arrive, it did so in a slow, insultingly staggered parade: my dish and my mother-in-law's showed up first, while my father-in-law and son waited an additional 15 minutes for theirs. By then, our veal and chicken parmesan had wilted into soggy, lukewarm disappointments unworthy of the steep $300 check. Adding to the farce, the cook — whose grim, disheveled appearance did nothing to inspire confidence — emerged from the kitchen only to praise the waitress for a “great job.” One wonders what, precisely, he considered commendable: the glacial pace, the cold entrées, or the inexplicable charge for desserts they didn't even have in stock. It took an additional wrangle to correct the bill, prolonging our stay to an exhausting three hours for what should have been a straightforward family dinner. In fairness to the wait staff, they quietly admitted that a lack of kitchen management was making their lives — and tips — miserable. Unfortunately, this honest confession did little to salvage an experience that fell short in every conceivable way. In the end, this establishment is out.
We walked in for our reservation we were sat next to a fire alarm. I asked is the patio open on one of the most beautiful days of the year the host replied we don't sit anyone out there. I was confused you have a restaurant on a lake with no outdoor seating available all empty tables on the deck. We ordered bar bites that were all served to us cold no steam coming off at all. For our entrees my wife ordered pecan crusted salmon and I ordered a NY strip steak. My steak came out Raw it wasn't even rare so clearly they don't use thermometers. I sat there for almost ten minutes before anyone came over to check on our entrees on a slow night with barely any guests. I watched the kitchen manager “chef” if you can even call him that walk out in the dining room with a filthy apron still on which is a health code violation. The sides they served with both of our meals were cold under seasoned and definitely microwaved. I sent my entire meal back even my soggy steak fries that were also cold. I then ordered a chicken parm which took at least 15 minutes which also was lukewarm at best the only good part of this experience was Julia the waitress who has great work ethic and cares about her job she has more pride than the manager on duty and the entire kitchen thank you Julia I will never return to this establishment and I encourage anyone with any standards to stay away. Thanks for nothing Mr “Manager” who knew there was a problem and waited 20 minutes to check on us if I were the owner I'd be ashamed of the entire staff besides Julia
As always, dinner At Rocky's on the Lake was delicious with a great choice of Specials and hand crafted cocktails.
Food is very good. server was nice and attentive. didn't seem that busy, but our first cocktail seemed to take a while. will definitely return.
I ordered Chicken Francese. The chicken was not pounded - so kinda gross to start with. I had two pieces of chicken - one was not even cooked. Still pink inside. My husband and father in law ordered the roast pork dinner. The pork was dry and tough.
Cool building, my parents live in the area so i go a lot, never had any bad experiences. Tried a lot of different things on the menu, i like pretty much everything except for their pizza, good draft list usually too.

Food was prepared well. Nice menu for the day. Will go back in the summer for the scenic view
Very pleasant evening! The chicken Parmesan was excellent, and the service was just right! Thank you!
As someone who’s somewhat picky when it comes to food, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food here! We ate several times during our stay in upstate New York - The food was consistently good and the beer was cold! The atmosphere is very laid back, and the locals were friendly! Don’t hesitate to check this place out!
