My girlfriend and I had a great dining and drinking experience here today on the 4th, despite these guys being slammed with people walking in the door. Huge respect to the owners son/ floor manager who held it all down in the chaos. We will come back again next time we are in the area. Cheers :)
I never have visited the poughkeepsie location,but I enjoy taking the train to cold spring with my family for a day trip...we wanted some good hearty food and walked up to here from the station,about a 10 minute walk.The staff was super nice and chill atmosphere. The food portions are great and prices in my opinion, were good. The parm wings and artichoke dip was delicious and I ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese and the portion could easily feed 3 people,and the corn bread...
After a five hour hike, we had pre-planned to eat at Murphy's for lunch/dinner.
To start off our meal, we ordered Artichoke dip and nachos, and it was truly so delicious. The portions are incredibly large even for a group of 5 people. It was my first time having artichoke dip and it definitely did not disappoint!
However, the fries were overly salted and the burger was a bit lacking.
The fish and chips with the tartar sauce was quite tasty though....
