CFC Colonie Fried Chicken Halal

Not sure what this restaurant is doing I hate to rate halal restaurants so low as a Muslim it’s good to have the halal option, but I rather eat vegetarian or vegan or not at all if I was in the mall than eat this. This was the worse fried chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life the chicken had little to no flavor, the flavor it did had was of old stale oil. The chicken was poorly breaded undercooked and mushy on the inside. I’m almost certain the chicken was frozen and not fresh as well. You guys have to really do better because I can’t recommend anyone waste there money here it was a huge disappointment, there is absolutely no excuse for charging people 10 dollars for this inedible chicken. I’ve had better fried chicken in 3rd world nations ,so for you as a restaurant with your resources and equipment to get it wrong is extremely inexcusable. Please do better.

Terrible place the workers were eating food while serving. I had to wait a long time, only to see worker with food on his face. When I got home there was hair in my food and food wasn’t cooked. A big piece of hair in the food really. I tried calling to get refund, no one answers. The place is unsanitary and recommend no one eats from here.

i was happy to see a halal place while shopping. the food was great, i’ll definitely go back again! the dude in the front was cute. So you know that feewing of eating weawwy good food that you kinda get an ewection and if you eat too much you weak a wittwe, yeah this is one of those westauwants.

It was yummy and It tastes fresh not the deep fried stuff at other restaurants that most ppl r used to :)

A friend and I were just passing through and stopped here on a whim for lunch. They offer a remarkably wide selection, but we both ordered the 2pc dark meat combo with fries and LOVED it! Chicken was juicy without being greasy, and fries were thick-cut and flavorful. All food was made fresh in front of us and served piping-hot. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back! Thanks, CFC, for a wonderful meal!

Would probably be a 4/5 or 5/5 if there was enough breading on the chicken.Update 5/15/2022: had the wings today. Tasted like nothing. Down to 1 star for me.

I ordered the piryani chicken, and found a hair in it, the rice was old and there were bones and lil piece of chicken in it. It was gross. So I asked to have something else so I got fried chicken and French fries. The oil looked like it was never changed the chicken had no flavor was gross fries were gross. I even tipped them and the quality all around was terrible next time will go to my usual Arby’s.
