10 of us went to the Korner Bar and Grille tonight on central avenue. Our server Max was excellent. We had several drinks before ordering dinner. We just finished our dinner and a waitress comes over and told us we had to finish up because they supposedly had the table reserved for 6:00 which no one told us that earlier. We were told that they had a time limit on sitting at a table for 2 hours which no one ever told us. There was another table for 10 near us that nobody was sitting at for 2 hours until 10 minutes before we were approached by this rude waitress . The waitress was totally rude through our bills in front of us and told us we could take our drinks up to the bar and she would try to squeeze us in. The bar was full and no where could she had fit 10 people at the bar. The waitress proceeded to take whatever she could off the table. We had to hold on to our drinks so she didn’t take them. We were rushed out of there and on my way out I approached a man and asked him if he was a manger and he said yes and I explained to him what happened and how rude the waitress was and he said the server we had when we were first seated should have told us that the table was reserved for 6:00 and I told him nobody told us that. He said he was going to fire the manager who originally sat us for not telling us the table was reserved for 6:00. It’s not my intention on having anyone fired. I told him we will never frequent this establishment again. No professionalism whatsoever. The waitress was totally disrespectful. This will be the next establishment that will be going out of business.
So they should put a sign on their tables that there’s a 2,hour limit on sitting at their tables.
We will never step foot in that establishment again and we will let everyone know to think twice before going there and P.S. the food wasn’t that good either. Korner Bar ruined our night out. We spent good money there to be treated like this.

Last night we brought 10 friends in for HH. This was our 4th time there. Matt our server was excellent as usual. At 5:45 a waitress told us she needed the table for a reservation. She was very rude very. My husband and his friend had tokens for their free beers . We had just finished eating and we're chatting.We said we were not ready to leave, all of a sudden all of our checks came. No one asked for them. My husband and friend got their free beers. She came over and slammed them on the table walked away. We have never ever been treated so rudely. Forcing us to leave
We will never go back. not only did we have hh but all six couples ate too. The restaurant is absolutely to small for reservations. We didn't even know they took them. When we were leaving my friend spoke to the owner and voiced our complaints.
So everyone if you plan on a relaxing evening out
I suggest you don't go there. Guess they don't need MONEY from 5 couples

Everything was great! We sat at the bar, and Christopher then Ryan took care of us and both so friendly and welcoming! I had the Greek Tenders (grilled, not breaded) and they were fantastic! My friend had the Burrata sandwich and said it was the best sandwich ever!! We've been there a few times and the chopped salad, pizza and wings top notch! We'll be back again with more friends in tow!

Ordered a few different apps and entrees for the family. Everything was really really good. Almost surprised at how consistently good all of the food exceeded our expectations and the server was great. This will probably wind up being a go to spot when we are in the area.
Made a reservation here, confirmed it the day prior when they called me, and came in for the reservation and it was not ready. We waited for about an hour, and the table was still occupied with no staff informing the guests that the table was booked. We had to go somewhere else for dinner.
However, we returned after for drinks and this place really stepped it up! Drinks here are amazing, and the chicken tenders are some of the best I have ever had! I woke up craving them the next day. They were incredibly apologetic and even comped our first round of drinks and provided the entire party with free pizza coupons. I was incredibly impressed by the lengths they went to make it up to us and they were happy to see us join again after our dinner.
Truly appreciate how wonderful it turned around after a rocky start, I would say they made up for it! Hopefully next time I go, the experience is smooth from the start.

We did a last minute order for a department lunch at work and John and his crew did a great job! We got the Detroit pizza and chicken tender deal and it was so good. The pizzas were amazing - very light and airy with a great crunch. The onion pizza was one of a kind because it was almost as if the onions were straight out of a French onion soup, which I've never had on a pizza before and it was delish. The chicken tenders and fries were also awesome! Those may sound boring and standard but the way they were cooked almost made me want to eat just those. So juicy and tasted like they were homemade vs frozen ones that are fried. All of my employees were impressed and said the lunch was a chef's kiss!

We are locals so we were excited to hear about the new addition! We got a LocalFlavor deal from a mail insert and decided maybe it was time to try some take out. Food was ready for pick up quickly, took a bit to find the location tucked back in the plaza. Inside was relatively slow for a Saturday night. Retail value of the order was around $50. The pizza was ok, the cod tacos were ok but a little wet (usually this means frozen fish was used), the “jumbo” wings were cooked well but did not appear jumbo (but I’m no expert here). Overall, nothing horrible to report but I felt if we didn’t have the coupon the value wouldn’t be there compared to the quality/price of other local establishments like Druthers or Shaker & Vine which give much more generous portions with fresher tasting ingredients.
