There are truly no words that can fully express the joy and gratitude my wife and I felt throughout the process of helping our daughter and her now husband plan their wedding at The Edison Downtown. From our very first tasting to the final dance of the evening, every detail exceeded our expectations. The communication, the décor, and the flawless execution of the entire event were nothing short of exceptional.
Belinda, Jemma, Dom, and the entire team were absolutely incredible. Their attentiveness to not only the bride and groom, but to us as well, made the experience even more special. We felt supported and cared for every step of the way. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were evident in every interaction.
And the food—where do we begin? Calling it five-star doesn’t even do it justice. From the cocktail hour to the reception, every dish was perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. There wasn’t a single complaint—only compliments and empty plates. The desserts were equally spectacular, offering a wide variety of choices that had everyone going back for seconds (and thirds!).
The venue itself is stunning. From the grandeur of the chandeliers to the seamless transitions between the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception spaces, everything was thoughtfully designed to keep the energy flowing and the guests engaged. At no point did anyone feel like they were waiting around—everything moved flawlessly from one moment to the next.
To Belinda and the entire Edison Downtown team: thank you. Thank you for your dedication, your creativity, and your unwavering commitment to making this day unforgettable. If we had to offer one tiny critique, it’s simply that the night went by far too quickly—it was so perfect, we never wanted it to end.
I have worked with the wonderful folks at Season’s catering several times over the past few years and they always do a fantastic job. The food is always delicious. I always look forward to working with them.
Belinda and her crew catered a Celebration of Life event for my boyfriend Tom Friss! Everything was on point and seamless from setting up the venue the night before to the food - I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us.
Season's catering does an amazing job hosting events such as breakfast with Santa. Between the details of the activities available for the children, the food, and the decor, it is a great time for children and adults. The staff are attentive, polite, and professional through and through. Season's even has a food truck that I have seen during the summer that has several delicious options to choose from. 10/10 recommend Season's catering for any event!
Seasons did an incredible job with our wedding day. They did an off premise event at Lakota's Farm Weddings in Cambridge, NY. We worked closely with Belinda beforehand and Jena day of as our coordinator. I can't begin to thank the entire team for their dedication to our special day. During cocktail hour, there was so much food that some of our guests thought that was the meal and didn't realize there was a plated dinner later on. They put everything into our day and Jena was a cool, calm, and collected rockstar the whole day. I cannot recommend them enough to people looking for catering. They only do a few off premise per year so get them while you can or book them at the Edison Downtown in Schenectady!!!
I needed a caterer for a corporate picnic on short notice. All Seasons was recommended to me by a couple of friends. They were very responsive and absolutely fantastic to work with. Super accommodating to my short notice event and helpful with my indecisiveness on what to serve. The picnic was being held in a state park and I didn't learn until 2 days prior to the event that I needed to get a food truck permit. The person I worked with at the State Park office made a point to tell me that they have never had such quick response from a caterer and that it usually takes days, if not weeks, to get a response from a caterer so they can issue the permit. All Seasons response was instant. I had the permit in a couple of hours. If you are looking for a caterer, give All Seasons a shot, you won't be disappointed.
We have used Seasons for both of our groundbreaking ceremonies for our new properties + both times have had raving reviews. We just partnered with them to cater our event in troy, ny + the menu was crafted to enhance our attendees overall experience. Refreshing fruits, 3 different types of bruschetta, tons of different chip + dip options along side cold drinks helped us get through an outdoor event in 100 degree heat. Thank you, seasons!
We wish to express or deep appreciation to Seasons Catering for catering our annual Doors to the Future Celebration in the beautiful banquet hall at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. The event was attended by 175 people and the food and service was exceptional! A special shout out to Shelly and the wait staff for their kindness to our attendees and special attentiveness to our graduated families! The very best to all of you!
Our rating is really a 3.5 but they didn't give us that choice. Seasons offered great prices for a great amount of food, their satellite kitchen fee was competitive (we got married in a place with no industrial kitchen on property), we got a table captain which was an added bonus, and the staff were so nice when we were asking a bunch of questions prior to booking. I only have so much space here so I will keep pre-wedding experience brief. Our main issues were: tipping not set and needed to be paid before the event because I don’t like not knowing if the money went to those at our wedding because I didn’t get to give it to them directly or if we were considered “low tippers” how that might have impacted our day, signature drinks not being guaranteed and an extra 14 a head if we wanted to guarantee it (this was nowhere in our contract), and our contacts at Seasons changing as people left the business and no one notified us (in the end we had 4 different people we ended up talking to).The day of the wedding was overall pretty great. The most important thing is that everyone said the food was AMAZING. TI think they went above and beyond with cocktail hour. I thought it was a great amount of food for the price! When we moved into the reception we had just one bar, and that became an issue. There was 150 people, and I asked my planner to get two bars for us for the wedding because it’s just too many guests and the way the venue gets set up it creates a lot of bottle neck. I cannot say who is to blame because I was not on the call when they discussed it. It created a very difficult time for people to serve dinner because the line was so long, and then the bar tenders said they were gonna close the bar for dinner service. That was never agreed upon and people were waiting about 10 minutes for drinks, so we had our planner handle that and told them no to shutting the bar. It ended up working out. One of the things that I talked about at length in planning was the part in the contract about plastic utensils, plates, etc. and I made sure it was noted that we would only use plastic close to the end of the night as I know they need to clean. We were a little disappointed to see plastic cups being served so quickly. It was definitely not towards the end of the night. Everyone said the servers were LOVELY and very nice and helpful (especially to my older relatives). The only other thing was that they didn’t put plates out with my doughnuts and cookies for dessert, and I had to ask my planner to put out the bags for the doughnuts. I didn’t like seeing my guests eating the doughnuts out of their hands and not being able to put them anywhere. Our table captain was amazing and so friendly, helping us out all night and making sure we were comfortable. All in all, our experience was positive, but we do think that the infrastructure and administration of seasons is in need of some work. Our experience was not awful by any means, but I think it’s fair to let you know everything that happened from our perspective. In the end, a lot of what happened that I wrote here most of our guests didn’t notice, but you will probably notice as the bride or groom.
My son had his wedding at the Edison Downtown. While the venue was nice, the food was disgusting. The owner will not take any ownership of the bad food, even though I sent her pictures. When I brought this to her attention, all she could say is that "they went above and beyond for the Bride and Groom and they were happy". I'm sorry, I am the client, my husband and I paid for the wedding and I was focusing on the food, not the experience. Very disappointed. Found out later from some other family members, that they had similar experiences. Not sure why they have anything above a 2 star rating!

Guests were raving about the cocktail hour food and display. Our meals were delicious and we are so happy we chose Seasons Catering!
Belinda and her Crew Absolutely nailed it. With over 200 guests, she took ALL our visions and dreams and turned them into reality! Complete PINK encouraged wedding attire, even the staff participated and wore pink ties. Not one detail was missed!! Not even my pink bows that were steamed on-site to be sure of any wrinkles.Food was phenomenal, staff was beyond courteous of all and any need we had. And the bartenders well they were on their game, anytime they saw myself, the groom or anyone in our wedding party empty, they were running us drinks.By far THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!We’ve had gusts calling all week saying518’s Wedding of the YEAR!Thank you Seasons Catering you will definitely see us in the future for other gatherings ?XxFancy & Chuck ♥️
Seasons Catering provided the food and linens for our Junior Prom. We could not have asked to work with a better company. Belinda and her entire staff went above and beyond to give our students the best night. They helped us pick the best food stations for our students, guided us during the entire planning process, and provided above and beyond service the night of the prom. We would recommend this company to any school, bride, etc. who is looking for a catering company to meet all of their needs!
