What an amazing first experience of BurgerFi in Commack, NY reminding me of Shake Shack all around New York. Delicious burgers š and fries š and the onion rings are very good. They ran out of chicken fingers tonight.

I CAME ALL THE WAY FEOM NEW JERSEY!!! All I wanted was a lettuce bun burger sandwich. I arrived when the doors was locked before closing time. So another name of Dawson came to the door, screaming their closed!!???? SMH. Mind you Iāve been here prior and the polite respectful charismatic Spanish guy treated us soooo differently!!! Funny my husband said we shouldāve went up the road to Jerseys Mikes but I thought BURGERFI wouldāve been better. SMH. That girl should be fired!!! Very very poor professionalism!!! Very bad and yall closing before hand. Never again! Wasted gas!!!! WE NOT GWT TO DO ANYTHING. NO DINE IN! NO EATS CANāT!!

Came here a few nights ago with my friends for a dinner sunday and it was the worst experience Iāve ever had. There was a rude cook talking crap loudly complaining on the phone short guy with tattoos and it rubbed me the wrong way and we had a heated exchange and I feel bad for the lady that was there trying to deescalate the situation. The door says you guys are open til 10 pm so I donāt know what his problem was. They really need to train their employees better here. Bad for business

Best burger joint period. Custard shakes are amazing, the Urban Fries are banging, CEO burger is better than shake shack any day of the week. I'm lucky to have one near my house. Make the trip, worth the drive. Ps. Extra points given for soda machine having EVERY SINGLE FLAVOR and Every type of beverage... Cherry, raspberry, vanilla... Every time. Clean bathrooms too.

Great burger. Always prepared well. The facility is kept pretty clean. Loyalty treats program is pretty generous and makes it easy to rack up points for discounts. Parking outside is petty good. Have never had any problems finding a spot.

The staff is pleasant and helpful and the place clean - minus the sticky floor near the soda machine - but the food is average to below average. I think that almost any local pub will have better hamburgers, fries , or onion rings.
The burger patty is about the size or a McDonaldās burger party though the bun etc is nicer. I got a burger - single patty - with a side of onion rings and fries. The burger was underwhelming, the fries good if soggy , and the onion rings mostly tasteless.
This is my first and last time visiting. There are lots of local pubs that fill the burger niche better than this place with about the same amount of wait time for the food.
Essentially, one comes here for a slightly elevated fast food experience though for $19 Iād rather go elsewhere.

UPDATE BELOW: For a fast food restaurant, the atmosphere is really nice as well as very clean. The service if flawless and the food is great! I think the best burgers in Suffolk county. And don't remember any mind shatterers in Nassau. They have it all as well as beer and veggie stuff.(My wife eats that stuff) Love this place!!!! Ps, I never get intigestion after eating their food! UPDATE 11/2025 Sorry to say this is the third time now the Fries were dark and soggy, the Onion rings looked like they were fried in old oil.... they were dark and greasy and the onion inside was barely noticeable probably due to re- cooking....God knows how many times. There were people all around which stopped me from being whiny so I tossed them in the garbage... people don't have time for me especially during lunch. As far as the Burgers.. mine was a double cheese, one piece of cheese was melted nicely the other was a small thin orangey postage stamp imbedded under the top bun. I have recommended this place to friends and family of which some thought I was nuts. Today again, I was disappointed. Such a shame I really liked this place. Oh well.

Very slow service. The steak hangover was extremely burnt and not presentable. The front clerk was all over the place. Dine-in order turn into to go. No attention to details. Seemed almost intentional.

Went to burger Fi in Newark and we ordered 6 meals, totaling $136 dollars. We asked for 2 ranch packets and the nice guy who took our order said they would give us 2 when we get our food. The lady who in the expo refused us 2 ranch packets, argued with me in front of the restaurant and told me it was not her problem, said I could stand back in line and purchase 2 ranch packets. The interaction was heated, lady with BurgerFi was rude and made it an unpleasant experience for the whole family and for the guest who witnessed the interaction. I know it seems petty, but when you spend that kind of money for a burger, it's not much to ask for ranch to go with the meal. The guy who took our order ended up walking over and giving my daughter the 2 ranch packets he said he would at check out. Not a good experience. Customer service gets a F. Food was ok and hit the spot.

Edited 10/2025: Walked in at 5:20 p.m. on a Tuesday. Place was empty. We placed an order to go for two single cheeseburgers and a cry and fry.
Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was not good. Both of the burgers tasted crunchy (read: overcooked). I don't know what's going on with the BurgerFi sauce but I kinda feel sick a few hours later.
Like others have stated, the place seems to be going downhill fast. Its sad.
