Francesca was professional, pleasant and extremely efficient and attentive. No one had to wait for anything and I received numerous compliments on her impeccable service.The bar staff provided an array of many specialty drinks which were also made perfectly, as they always are. Thanks to our superb waiter (I believe his name is Marty), he told us about the special that they had, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and truth be told would have been well worth it at the regular price, but as a special, it was a steal!For an app we decided to split the pretzel. It was quite large, had great dips to go along with it, and came out warm, fresh, and perfect.The chicken sandwich (we both ordered it) was flavorful and moist, and great sauces to accompany it, which we enjoyed with the French fries. We could not finish it all, but that did not stop us from enjoying the milk shakes at the end.I'm so grateful for the waiter telling us about the special, and he was extremely attentive and personable. I can honestly say he treated us as if we were dear friends, and could not have been better.Looking forward to going back and eventually trying the burgers, as they looked fantastic!!”

“This place has some major positives and 1 pretty bad negative. If you are looking for some great apps and drinks this is your place. Love the atmosphere, selection of beer, servers always nice but overwhelmed. However something happeneds to the place when it's time for main courses. It changes into different quailty completely. I think honestly it comes down to a dirty grill, and oil not changed out enough. So this problem might not be exsistant in a few days, but if it continues ew. Every app is fire, and almost every entree is inedible. I'll keep going for the apps and drinks though.”
“Grew up on this pizza when it was Branchinelli’s and have watched it evolve into what it is today. The Sicilian pie is fantastic. All the pizza is really, but the Sicilian is just next level. I had a pie flown to me in Chicago while living out of town. The service at the tables has always been nice but the counter service has always been a little gruff. One bite into a Sicilian slice and all is forgiven however. This is a must try spot if in the neighborhood and if you’re a local you already know.”

I’m not sure if this is customary for parties of 6 or higher, or if it was because we were a group of young college-aged women, but we were automatically charged 20% tip on our bill. Automatically putting the tip on the bill says to me, “I don’t trust that you’ll tip me enough so I’m doing this to cover my bases.” As a waitress myself, I understand where they’re coming from, but I never do that, even if I had more than 8 people in a party. It’s a risk, but I’m willing to take it to give my party the freedom to tip me even more if they want. I was planning on tipping over 20% in cash because the service was so good, but it was too late when I saw it already added.”

Again, nice size portion of food for the money”

“IHOP of Commack has been our choice for Breakfast for years. We have been going with our kids and now with our grandkids. The food choices are many and breakfast is out favorite time with the grandkids from the funny face pancakes to the new Girl Scout Mint Chocolate Chip pancakes. The staff and the owners are always helpful and nice. There is plenty of parking but get there early cause there can be a wait.”

“The last time I went to an Ice Cream store that provides their own custom flavors was in Carey, North Carolina. This store is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. From what I read; Ice Cream Social has several flavors of ice cream along with vegan flavors. They do have traditional flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, and cookie dough, but they are constantly designing new flavors. I tried many flavors before choosing the pumpkin pie flavor ice cream. But I did also like the apple cider donut and Coco Almond Joy. Next time I will explore other interesting creations. The staff was kind enough to afford me the opportunity to taste many creative flavors. It was not easy to settle on just one flavor. I recall a family member explaining to me what it takes to create these interesting flavors, and he stated it is all in the Cream mix. If you want to enjoy high quality ice cream with many creative flavors, one must indulge in Ice Cream Social.”

“Picked up a VERY large order from here recently and the food was pretty good! It was my first time having tacos from Cabo Fresh and I can't say it'll be my last time. I enjoyed the various options for toppings that were set up in the catering order and I was especially pleased with the employees asking and offering additional items to make transport more efficient and to enjoy the meal even better. Looking forward to using them again for a small catering gig. They did well.”
“This place has some major positives and 1 pretty bad negative. If you are looking for some great apps and drinks this is your place. Love the atmosphere, selection of beer, servers always nice but overwhelmed. However something happeneds to the place when it's time for main courses. It changes into different quailty completely. I think honestly it comes down to a dirty grill, and oil not changed out enough. So this problem might not be exsistant in a few days, but if it continues ew. Every app is fire, and almost every entree is inedible. I'll keep going for the apps and drinks though.”
“Consistently great experience at Izumi. We've been coming here at least once a year for the last eight years for my brother-in-law's bday and we are never disappointed. Our experience today seemed especially great! Steak and scallop hibachi is my go to, the scallops today were perfection. Drinks are always fantastic; always well balanced and tasty. $9 specialty cocktails at the bar everyday from 4pm-6pm. I think I've tried every drink at this point; they're all great. My husband ordered lobster today which truthfully I was skeptical would be overcooked, but it was fantastic! My MIL had a few sushi rolls which were fresh and delicious. Our chef today was fun but not over the top, as hibachi chefs sometimes can be. We were seated next to a family with two small children, and the chef was fantastic with them. 10/10 recommend!!”

“I came in with 5 other friends of mine on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, our server, Colleen was friendly and provided great service to us, and our food came out very quickly! I’m not sure if this is customary for parties of 6 or higher, or if it was because we were a group of young college-aged women, but we were automatically charged 20% tip on our bill. Automatically putting the tip on the bill says to me, “I don’t trust that you’ll tip me enough so I’m doing this to cover my bases.” As a waitress myself, I understand where they’re coming from, but I never do that, even if I had more than 8 people in a party. It’s a risk, but I’m willing to take it to give my party the freedom to tip me even more if they want. I was planning on tipping over 20% in cash because the service was so good, but it was too late when I saw it already added.”

“Grew up on this pizza when it was Branchinelli’s and have watched it evolve into what it is today. The Sicilian pie is fantastic. All the pizza is really, but the Sicilian is just next level. I had a pie flown to me in Chicago while living out of town. The service at the tables has always been nice but the counter service has always been a little gruff. One bite into a Sicilian slice and all is forgiven however. This is a must try spot if in the neighborhood and if you’re a local you already know.”

“Worst bakery some time ago i bought a banna bread and it was full of mold. I recently purchased a raspberry torte and the crust stuck to the card board server so bad that you could not get a pie server under it to serve it thecrust tasted like flour and water the raspberry filling tasted like thick unflavored gelatin. It was so embarrassing to serve I threw it out. The worst buyer beware!!!”

“Our waitress was friendly, but busy. The tables were about 3/4 full and maybe they were a bit shorthanded. It was a bit frustrating getting her attention. It was a bit of a wait between appetizers and dinner, which is of course understandable these days. What was not understandable is why some of our food arrived cold. I would give them another shot, but if it's a repeat of this dinner, there are other similar chain restaurants we can visit.”

“IHOP of Commack has been our choice for Breakfast for years. We have been going with our kids and now with our grandkids. The food choices are many and breakfast is out favorite time with the grandkids from the funny face pancakes to the new Girl Scout Mint Chocolate Chip pancakes. The staff and the owners are always helpful and nice. There is plenty of parking but get there early cause there can be a wait.”
