“I recently returned from a trip to Spain, where I fell in love with the local tapas. Naturally, I was on the lookout for an authentic tapas experience back here . Based on some excellent reviews, I decided to try this cozy little place, One great feature is the outdoor seating area, where you can bring your dog.
The tapas here are simply outstanding! Each dish transported me back to Spain with its authentic flavors. The taste was remarkably similar to what I enjoyed during my trip. The sangrias were superb as well.
The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch.
If you're craving authentic Spanish tapas, this place is a must-visit. The food, drinks, and service are all exceptional, making it a wonderful spot to relive the flavors of Spain.”

“Wonderful experience dining at the new Arlo restaurant. The renovation is absolutely incredible. You want to walk around just to admire how beautiful it all looks. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. Looking forward to going back.”

“Very colorful restaurant and my kids loved it. There’s indoor and outdoor dinning. I loved that they had vegetarian and vegan options. Great service and the food was delish. Good portion sizes.

“Had a wonderful lunch on an August Friday, we docked our boat at the Northport Village dock and walked around town before stopping in for lunch. Really nice variety on the menu. Staff was extremely attentive. We both had really enjoyable meals with very reasonable pricing. We will definitely be back.”

“After eating at Maroni's a week ago, I have been really putting off how to review it because I've been truly processing it.

There aren't many tasting menu options in the area, to start. So I was pumped to find this place which offers ~16 courses for $195/person. It is cash only (or check), which is strange, but includes tip/tax and unlimited wine.

The experience ultimately is fascinating. I was expecting a very Italian-influenced night, which at times it was. However, when you walk in you walk into 1960s UK music/decorations (apparently the owner is a big Beatles fan), which really does not seem to connect to the food. The decor is all in line with this. The tables are cozy, which wasn't an issue for us as the place was about 50% full when we went.

In terms of the food, this is also so confusing to me. The following description will be a description of the nonsensical and random chain of events that was the tasting menu. Started with a teacup of lobster bisque, which was lovely (no lobster meat, fine). Then this "medallion" of caviar, which I could've done without. Followed by a California roll, which was fine but seemingly so random (why sushi in an Italian restaurant?). This is when I knew the menu would not really make sense/follow any sort of theme. Oysters and shrimp next. Korean short ribs with a singular gummy bear on top? The rib was fine but I truly have never eaten a heated gummy bear and am not sure I ever wanted to. Kobe beef slider-this was maybe a highlight- with a Heinz packet and 2 tater tots each-strange but delicious. At some point, someone walked around with truffle grilled cheese bites. This was probably my favorite course. Back to courses. Green eggs with a crostini. Pastrami egg roll (this was the most random to me and truly was not well done, why are we putting pastrami in an egg roll?), chicken dish, ravioli, etc.

We ended with meatballs and spaghetti. This was told to be the star of the restaurant and really was not. The spaghetti was very much fine. I was a little disappointed by the meatballs, which they give you to send home with.

Dessert wise, there was a chipwich, mousse, and Crème brûlée. The first two were great! The latter, meh.

The service was excellent and they were really interested in refilling your drinks.

Ultimately, I probably wouldn't pay to go back. Or buy the meatballs to go. It's such a strange tasting menu....If you're without other options in the area it's a solid choice if you live/are staying nearby!”

“Great food great service great prices.. Not very comfortable.. 4 of us at a table that should have been for 2.. I totally recommend trying the food but if you are more then 2 people be prepared to squeeze.”

“We catered the BBQ package & had the ribs, wings & pulled pork. Also had mac/cheese, grilled veggies, cole slaw, cornbread & more. There was more than enough food & everything tasted delicious. Owner Nicole was very accommodating & it was packed perfectly. I heartily recommend this place!!❤️.”

Super busy here on July 4th, I stopped here at mile 50 to refuel. 5 people ahead of me but the line moved surprisingly quick. By the time I ordered and was at the cashier, 10 others were behind me.

The iced coffee is self serve with a cup of ice. I asked for a high carb pastry and the pretty gal recommended the cinnamon roll. It was fabulous, bite after bite, I couldn’t stop. ?

Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. Everyone is polite and the vibes are chill.

“We visited Northport on a weekday in April, after visiting the Tulip farm not too far. We were looking for a fast-casual place to eat with the kids, 2 of them vegetarian. We couldn't find anything attractive until we reached the end of the commercial street, at Martoni. We ordered a few panini sandwiches, they were huge, and tasted great! Staff were very friendly too.

Vegetarian options: The menu is attached. We had great vegetarian cheese panini and a vegetarian ravioli.

Parking: On a weekday in Aprill parking wasn't a big problem on a windy afternoon. The parking lot was for free.”

“On an evening boat trip we decided to have dinner at Captree Cove. There were quite a few patrons enjoying the breezes coming off the water. The fishing fleet is great to see too. Everyone at our table ordered something different. The seafood fradiavlo, lobster ravioli, fish tacos and mahi mahi entrees were excellently prepared. The end of summer staff did a standup job catering to our needs in a sweet, pleasant way. We truly enjoyed the evening and will be back.”

“My daughter spotted this place and wanted to buy Italian ices. We pulled up and went to the door to find out it was closed, and they had a sign that states they should be open at 12 (guessing due to the holiday). The owner was in his car and told me I saw how excited your daughter was and I couldn't allow myself to not serve her ice cream. He opened the shop and gave her the ice cream she asked for and wouldn't accept the money for it. I thought that was amazing and you barely find business owners that go to that extent now a days. I would like to thank him once again for his kind gesture.”

“Huge portions! Food is pretty good but it took a while to get. It was a busy morning but we sat for 10 minutes before we were addressed. I think it was understaffed. A bit pricey for just eggs and bacon which I ordered.

Parking: Too few spaces. Had to park in the street.

“By far the best bagels I have ever had! Great food, great service. I ordered 2 dozen bagels for my daughter’s Halloween party at school and asked for them to be sliced and ready by 8am. Sure enough everything was packed and ready for when I picked them up. It’s a little out of my way but worth the drive when I’m craving fresh bagels.”

“This is our local shop. The owner is a cool guy who employs very competent local young people to work there with him. The service is excellent, the store is very clean and the price is right. I highly recommend this shop. Plenty of parking, next to Mickey D's.”

We had a small mixup with our take-out order, only once ever, and they handled it very well. As a small business owner I know that sometimes there are hick-ups, but how they are handled is the real indication of whether a business is run with customer satisfaction in mind or not. These guys care and try to do the right thing for their customers. Highly, highly recommend this place!!!”

“My wife and I walked in for dinner without a reservation maybe two months ago at around 6:30 on a Saturday. Since the wait was a bit longer than usual we were kindly given a plate of Edamame on the house. That's when we noticed that our server was working the entire dining room by herself after another called in sick last-minute.Being short staffed is a challenge on any night but this was a packed house on Saturday night with a large number of take-out orders flowing and the team stepped up with impressive dexterity. Given the circumstances mistakes can happen but we didn't notice any.Our meals were delicious, creative and beautiful. We've since returned several times for the great food but the real triumph that night was how well everyone in the front house performed.

“Highly recommend this spot for all vegan and lactose intolerant folks. This is the only carvel that I know of that carries oatly dairy-free ice cream. We tried the vegan pistachio soft serve and it was probably one of the best desserts ever. This flavor goes perfect in a cone. She also had dairy-free (vegan) hard ice cream flavors including cookies and cream and peanut butter with some sort of chunks. Will be returning to try more flavors. There really is not advertisement that this spot has vegan options, so I wanted to write a review to let everyone know!”
