Martoni is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the heart and soul that goes into this place. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and lively—whether you’re stopping in for a meal, browsing the market, or just soaking in the Italian vibes, it genuinely feels like an experience rather than just a restaurant visit.

The food was incredible across the board. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and their recipes—each bite just reinforces why Italian food is so timeless and comforting. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you satisfied but already thinking about what you’re going to order the next time you come back.

What really took this place to the next level, though, was the customer service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time there, and that kind of hospitality goes a long way. It’s rare to find a place where the service somehow manages to outshine already great food—but Martoni does exactly that.

I would 100% recommend Martoni to anyone looking for great vibes, an unforgettable experience, and—most importantly—amazing food. Whether you’re going for a casual visit or something special, this place delivers on every level. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know about it.

“Highly recommend this spot for all vegan and lactose intolerant folks. This is the only carvel that I know of that carries oatly dairy-free ice cream. We tried the vegan pistachio soft serve and it was probably one of the best desserts ever. This flavor goes perfect in a cone. She also had dairy-free (vegan) hard ice cream flavors including cookies and cream and peanut butter with some sort of chunks. Will be returning to try more flavors. There really is not advertisement that this spot has vegan options, so I wanted to write a review to let everyone know!“

“If you want a place to go eat with dirty hands this is the one! Bathroom is always closed but there’s an alley not too far away. You can tell management really cares about the customer experience when they keep the bathroom closed from customers. And they even have tables, that alone would be a health department violation(tables without a working bathroom) but who has time to call them anyway? I think the stuff here is delicious but it could also be the flavor from the last customer on the door handle so who knows?“

“Wow! Alkemy Ice Cream is amazing! I def recommend trying it! And especially for a birthday party! My entire experience was fantastic! I stumbled upon Alkemy Ice cream while looking for something unique for a birthday and the owner Alan explained how they do birthday parties almost like a show AND make the dessert. They can host a party at the shop OR they can come to you! I was unsure how it would go but Alan was super friendly, answered all my questions throughly and assured me I would love it. I more than loved it! It was the best ever and we are still talking about it. They came to my house and put on a show for the kids that even they are still talking about how cool it was. It was like having a party and adding a surprise guest with a special science experiment show for additional entertainment that makes amazing unique dessert at the end! Each ice cream was perfectly made and was fresh! The toppings were all fresh as well. Watching the show was fascinating and the kids had so much fun learning. They continued to amaze guests as they made each ice cream right there. I wasn’t sure if each kid would be waiting a while but it didn’t take long to get all the kids ice cream after the show. They whipped it up fast and everyone got to pick toppings and have a perfectly made ice cream quickly. They didn’t need a lot of room and even cleaned up! “I can’t say enough good things about Kool Kat Ice Cream Truck! I reached out to treat my daughter and her friends at her small school, and while other places turned me down because it was a small order, Kool Kat happily said yes. They made these kids so unbelievably happy! The man who came was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to make sure every child got exactly what they wanted. “The best fro-yo/smoothie place I've been to in a very long time. I stopped in yesterday because it was super humid and I wanted something refreshing. The store had a lot delicious looking fruit smoothies so it was hard to pick. However, my pomegranate pick was absolutely delicious. As I was waiting, the owner and I got to chatting and he informed me he has been in business for over 30 years and I completely understand why!
