“We celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday at Manninos in Commack on 3/24/24. I booked the dinner, for 20 people, with Joe the manager, who delivered every request I made. The food, atmosphere, and drinks were outstanding. But, the Service you receive is what can make or break the evening.Our server was Francesca, along with a supporting staff of 3. Francesca was professional, pleasant and extremely efficient and attentive. No one had to wait for anything and I received numerous compliments on her impeccable service.The bar staff provided an array of many specialty drinks which were also made perfectly, as they always are. This is why we often choose Manninos in Commack for a great night out.Much thanks to Joe the owner, who is always a Gentleman.Thank you to Joe the Manager, Francesca, Nicole and the bar staff and all those who provided my wife with such a memorable birthday.If you haven’t been here, you are missing a great experience.“
“Do yourself a favor an order the egg plant parm roll. It's amazing and has become a new family favorite. We've ordered takeout from here a few times and the pizza is really good. However, I don't love the mushroom topping because the mushrooms taste like they're the mushrooms from a can (I'd prefer fresh, but that's just me). I'll continue to order from here.“
“OMG We were at my daughter's home in East Northport and i ordered a few pizzas from Milano for the first time and we are all in love!! Best pies that we have had on the island! Their pizza is not greasy or heavy and everything is very fresh. The chicken Marsala pie and the regular pie were tops - best I have had and we also ordered a tri-color pie to try and it was delicious!! We plan to dine in to try their entrées. If I could give 10 stars I would!“
“I came in with 5 other friends of mine on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, our server, Colleen was friendly and provided great service to us, and our food came out very quickly! I’m not sure if this is customary for parties of 6 or higher, or if it was because we were a group of young college-aged women, but we were automatically charged 20% tip on our bill. Automatically putting the tip on the bill says to me, “I don’t trust that you’ll tip me enough so I’m doing this to cover my bases.” As a waitress myself, I understand where they’re coming from, but I never do that, even if I had more than 8 people in a party. It’s a risk, but I’m willing to take it to give my party the freedom to tip me even more if they want. I was planning on tipping over 20% in cash because the service was so good, but it was too late when I saw it already added.“
“Hidden gem for sure. Taormina’s is a cozy authentic pizza spot with a wide variety of dishes, nestled perfectly into a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking. Classic New York style pizza with many options for toppings. Great pizza, & the grilled chicken wrap is especially delicious with their house vinaigrette! Staff and management will make you feel at home, and Anthony continues to provide my family with great service with every visit.“
“You are not going to find a better price for the quality of food served. Additionally, the wait staff is unbeatable - extremely friendly and always attentive. I can say always because we have become regulars here and have never ever been let down no matter the night or time of day. We have probably eaten here 25 plus times and will continue to be regulars here.“
“La Scala Ristorante and Pizzeria is both a Pizzeria for a quick slice or two or sit down in the back restaurant area. The food is good from the salads to penne alla vodka. It has been around for years and years and a go to in Commack. The portions are very generous. The place was updated is is nice and very clean.“
“Of course the good was great, it's Anthony's! We came for the $10 pies for National Pizza Day. It was super crowder but we were seated quickly and our waiter, Jeremy, was AMAZING! He had so many tables but made sure to touch base with all of often. He was super kind and professional. We definitely enjoyed our meal/service!“

Everything is always fresh.It is everything you want from a neighborhood Pizza place.As traditional as Pizzaiolo is, there is a great flair for new ideas. New approach to some traditional classics.One of my favorites is the Alla Vodka Sicilian.But, like I said, you can't go wrong with any choice.The only bad choice is to not go to Pizzaiolo.“
“This is the 2nd time I've visited MaBella, and it was another delightful experience! The chicken franchise was delicious, as was the warm bread. The service is impeccable, the water glasses are quickly refilled, and the servers are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We split dessert, and the NY Cheesecake was wonderful, as was the Affogato! We'll be back!“
