Simply delicious, had the pollo guisado lunch which comes with rice and a flavorful lentil soup, also had ceviche fresh and tasty plus Arroz Chaufa. Servers were very attentive and super sweet. We will definitely be back!!

This place is so small. A 15 minute wait turned into a 35 minute wait. You need to call ahead to make a reservation. We didn't know & suffered the consequences lol. We finally sat down and waited another 20 minutes for our drinks! I'm not sure if they are short staffed but they were all over the place. Do yourself the favor & order everything at once while you have the waitor there because you won't see them again for God knows how long. They blast music so they act like they cant hear you calling them.They are all in the back kitchen! We sat down at 4:45 and left at 7:20 WE DIDNT EAT OUR MAIN COURSE BECAUSE THEY TOOK FOREVER!!!! I WAS SO CONFUSED WHY BECAUSE ALL I ORDERED WAS simple rice and chicken!!!!! BY THE TIME WE SPOKE TO SOMEONE WE ASKED FOR OUR MEALS TO GO!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! There were 3 people working there! One behind the bar acting like she don't see or hear anyone and the other two running around singing happy birthday while there are customers literally waiting hours starving! This place is backwards!! Never again! Unfortunately my FAVORITE candela spot located in huntington is currently closed! If im not mistaking they are re locating :( please hurry up and open!! Second Candela restaurant I've visited, loved the place, small restaurant with the proper decor, the service was excellent and the food excellent, I had the grilled octopus, delicious, the other people in my party also enjoyed their choices

This is the second Candela restaurant I have visited, the first one is in Hicksville ,I believe that this one is better, the service was excellent, they were always around ready to help, the place itself was nice and clean with pictures and sounds of Perú giving it a good ambiance, the food was great, enjoyed the whole experience, I had the special of the day, grilled octopus, delicious and everyone else in the party enjoyed their choices

The worst in a long time. Four of us tonight for dinner at 6:30. Server informs us they are out of chicken ( their most ordered dish), no Caesar Salad), and martini's only available with apple, not just plain. 1/2 hour for drinks to come. Entrees come out but no appetizers. Server tells us we didn't order them, although she repeated order to us. Appetizers about 20 minutes later. Fried calamari is a mix of fish sticks and squid, though menu does not mention that. Entrees follow shortly after. Paella is almost inedible, filled with grit and uncooked foul tasting clams. As we're finishing entrees, drink refills come out - way too late. Server does not ask about coffee or desser, just drops check. The Worst

I had a half a chicken with French fries and salad. The chicken was moist and tasty. The three sauces enhanced the flavor of the chicken, and the salad dressing boosted the flavor of the salad.The food is reasonably priced, and the service was fantastic.

What a great find! This place has amazing food! They serve the best Ceviche I’ve ever had! They even have a wonderful father and son duo playing enjoyable music while you eat. So glad to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. We will be visiting frequently. ?
