I came to this place only because a coworker brought cheesecake from here and it was delicious so I decided to get a cheesecake for my fiancé’s 49th birthday. I am in shock that there are some bad reviews because this cheesecake was amazing. And the staff was approachable and friendly. Don’t always go by the bad reviews, obviously they have redeemed themselves because everything looks good and I will definitely go back to try it all. Yum!😋

Unbelievable cakes, pastries. Great custom cakes. Had my wedding cake made in 1987 and they are still going strong. Just had my daughter's engagement cake made and all my guests were talking about the cake. Also had lemon shaped cookie which were sugar cookies.

It pains me to write this review but I must. Let me start off by saying they’re only getting 2 stars due to the general manager Kawal being apologetic. I had called in a special order for gluten free and eggless cupcakes. These cupcakes were for my boss who is gluten intolerant as well as severely allergic to eggs. I was notified by the associate who answered the phone that it wouldn’t be a problem to do this order and that they would only need 24 hours for the size of the order. Fast forward to the day I picked up my order. I wanted to double check that the order was gluten free and eggless as I noted before my colleague is severely allergic. The woman behind the counter said no it is only gluten free. As you could imagine I was severely disappointed and upset. On the phone I was told this wouldn’t be an issue and I arrive the day of and the order is incorrect. Had I not asked this could have made my boss severely ill on their birthday. Not once did anyone notify me prior to making the batch of cupcakes that it wasn’t possible for them to make gluten free and eggless cupcakes. With this said I unfortunately cannot recommend this bakery to anyone gluten free or allergic to eggs.

Extremely disappointed—there was visible mold on the cake when I opened the box. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about freshness and food safety. I literally went to the store and show them it and they just said “sorry” and went to the back room and didn’t come back out. They didn’t even offer me a cookie or anything for the inconvenience. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Everytime i order on ubereats they cancel the order, extremely disappointed

The Quality has clearly gone down in the past few years since they got new owners. Pastries dont taste super fresh.

2 days before thanksgiving, not able to use 20% off coupon?????? It says excludes holidays- today isn’t a holiday, Thursday is 11/28/24. Update your coupons then. Older lady with the mask always on at the commack location is always so nasty. I won’t be back here. Go to Hummel Hummel or Copenhagen Bakery instead!!

I know this bakery has opened stores across long island but the only store half way decent is their original store in Levittown. I bought cakes for Jewish holiday in Commack and they were dry and bland. The 7 layer cakes sponge has no flavor no bounce to it and the chocolate doesn't even have chocolate flavor. The taglach which I afore for holiday had so little honey that your fingers weren't gooey and it tasted like Challah that hadn't been soaked hard and dry even the shape and size weren't traditional but I should have expected that from this bakery. The madel Bread was fair but enable. Their rugalach again so dry

Our wedding cake from Dortoni Bakery was beyond perfect! The design was a showstopper, and the cake was fresh, moist, and delicious. The team’s professionalism and quality of service made the entire experience wonderful. We received endless compliments on the cake, and it was a highlight of our wedding!
