I normally don’t go to this location but ended up there today. I was helped by a lovely girl named Emily. She was so sweet and helpful. She really made the experience amazing. She helped me pick out an amazing cake that I brought to my neighbor’s house.

Bought a cake this week at the Commack location and took it to a restaurant for a birthday. There were endless complaints from all the guests - there was barely any cake, just two very thick uneven layers of pudding. The birthday person refused to take the cake home; I felt so embarrassed. Very disappointed.

Why, in the name of all things holy and tricolor, is apricot the only jam allowed at this cookie party?!

Like… did raspberry hurt someone? Is this a personal vendetta? Did raspberry skip out on rent?

I’m not saying apricot isn’t good — it’s fine, it’s mature, it’s what you bring to brunch with your crusty old in-laws or people in a nursing home.
But raspberry? Raspberry is the passionate, tart queen of rainbow cookies. She brings drama. She slaps.

So here’s my humble (unhinged) plea:
Let raspberry in. Let her live.
We, the people, deserve options. We deserve tang.
We deserve freedom from this jam tyranny.

Until then, I’ll keep driving to the Huntington location, where things are a little more… jam-inclusive.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience cake tasting at Dortoni Bakery in Commack. The staff were pleasant when they greeted us at the bakery. We were provided with a wide arrange of options to taste and they were all delicious; it was hard to choose! They also had exact design we were looking for, we were so excited! The manager, Kawal, was also wonderful and made up feel so special during our visit. The wedding cake was not only gorgeous but also tasted delicious. Seriously a lot of people were raving about how good the cake was after the wedding. My husband and I honestly had a small taste during the cake tasting but we look forward to getting our one year anniversary cake! We also look forward to visiting this bakery again for future celebrations :)

The cookies were excessively sweet, lacking the balance and subtlety one might expect from a good pastry. But the conduct of the staff was worse. Two to three of the female employees at the front counter engaged in behavior that was both unprofessional and pointed. As I FaceTimed my mother while selecting a pastry, I was met with prolonged stares, visible amusement and giggles from the staff which is, at best, immature. Don’t just take it from me; read the other reviews on the customer service here ( or lack thereof).

I came to this place only because a coworker brought cheesecake from here and it was delicious so I decided to get a cheesecake for my fiancé’s 49th birthday. I am in shock that there are some bad reviews because this cheesecake was amazing. And the staff was approachable and friendly. Don’t always go by the bad reviews, obviously they have redeemed themselves because everything looks good and I will definitely go back to try it all. Yum!😋

Unbelievable cakes, pastries. Great custom cakes. Had my wedding cake made in 1987 and they are still going strong. Just had my daughter's engagement cake made and all my guests were talking about the cake. Also had lemon shaped cookie which were sugar cookies.

It pains me to write this review but I must. Let me start off by saying they’re only getting 2 stars due to the general manager Kawal being apologetic. I had called in a special order for gluten free and eggless cupcakes. These cupcakes were for my boss who is gluten intolerant as well as severely allergic to eggs. I was notified by the associate who answered the phone that it wouldn’t be a problem to do this order and that they would only need 24 hours for the size of the order. Fast forward to the day I picked up my order. I wanted to double check that the order was gluten free and eggless as I noted before my colleague is severely allergic. The woman behind the counter said no it is only gluten free. As you could imagine I was severely disappointed and upset. On the phone I was told this wouldn’t be an issue and I arrive the day of and the order is incorrect. Had I not asked this could have made my boss severely ill on their birthday. Not once did anyone notify me prior to making the batch of cupcakes that it wasn’t possible for them to make gluten free and eggless cupcakes. With this said I unfortunately cannot recommend this bakery to anyone gluten free or allergic to eggs.

Extremely disappointed—there was visible mold on the cake when I opened the box. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about freshness and food safety. I literally went to the store and show them it and they just said “sorry” and went to the back room and didn’t come back out. They didn’t even offer me a cookie or anything for the inconvenience. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Everytime i order on ubereats they cancel the order, extremely disappointed

The Quality has clearly gone down in the past few years since they got new owners. Pastries dont taste super fresh.
