My family used to go to Foo Luck all the time. We haven't had it in years so I gave it a try again tonight and was very disappointed. Got the wonton soup and it was bright yellow & just didn't taste how it's supposed to. Got an order of the dim sum and that tasted like it was frozen. The fried pork dumplings weren't great either. I got the boneless rib combo and that was pretty decent! We also got the shrimp chow fun, which was good but there was barely any shrimp in it. Definitely not the Foo Luck I remembered :(

Love Foo Luck and have been going there for over 30 years. My in laws even longer. Whatever they have done to their egg foo young gravy recently just cranked it to the next level! We also love their sweet & sour chicken, dumplings and white meat general tsao's chicken! Soups are excellent!

I've been ordering fromFoo Luck for over 25 years. Never been disappointed. The food has a lot of taste, it's fresh, and not too salty since I'm worried about sodium. Family-owned and everybody is so nice. They've got a loyal customer in "this" family! ?
Listen, this is not the best Chinese food I've ever had but when you give them special instructions, they follow them they're very friendly when you call and the food is very good when you sit down to eat it's a very small, quaint place not exactly a romantic spot but again the food is very good and so is the service. Definitely eat there or order in several times a month.

Our favorite Chinese food! We travel from Dix Hills just for their food, especially the shrimp with lobster sauce. We just catered a party from them, and the food arrived hot and delicious. Everyone raved about the food.

I’ll give it a good 2 maybe 2.5. We were in a jam last night for some quick chiney. Usually frequent spot in Huntington which is expensive but the food is hot damn the best chiney I’ve had.However we had to go somewhere local and foo luk was close. Foo Yuk….the food was no bueno. It was cheap but it wasn’t good. We ate it, but it wasn’t good quality chiney.Alright everyone, love yall.

Updating my decade-old review: Foo Luck has had mixed quality in the past year, despite being so consistently great in the beforetimes. Not sure what happened after Covid but some quality tightening would go a long way! Their standard chicken & broccoli is still the best in the area for the taste and portion, and their hot and sour soup is unrivaled, particularly the broth. But sometimes the chicken has come in a weirdly colored sauce or a tougher consistency. Their sushi station has declined in the past several years--they weren't able to reliably fill sushi orders for a while--and recovered. It's still my favorite Chinese food in the area but I'm hopeful that some quality control fixes would make it even better.

I have been a customer of this establishment for many years with no problem. Must have changed ownership. Poor quality food. Ordered chicken with broccoli which merely broccoli with very little chicken. Also tried chicken dumplings. Not edible. Tossed out. Will have to look for new place.

It's my strong belief that any Chinese take-out place can be assessed on its delivery of the staples - and the chicken and broccoli here does not disappoint. The hot and sour soup is UNMATCHED by any H&S in the northeast. It's delicious. Thick, spicy, flavorful. I don't know how they do it, but damn, do they ever do it!!!!! They also have good sushi here - my hub gets a couple-a California rolls as an appetizer and he loves it. Fair prices, great value, quick service (we always do pick up), and friendly faces. Looking for a Chinese take-out place to call home? Look no further Long Island!
