Sushi rolls and soups were excellent. The hibachi was good, but have had better. Service was also excellent. A little pricey, but the food is worth it.

First and last time we will visit this place. We were waiting right by the front podium to be attended, and the woman that was there took another family as they came in and ignored us completely. With that it started bad. I made eye contact with the lady and she was like lat me take you now. We were sat in an empty tables as we were 5 + a baby, but rapidly removed with the excuse that there was a 45 minute wait on that table. We then were moved to another table with 1 more family sitting which is fine, but guess what that table that we were removed from because of the 45 minute wait was filled within 3 minutes with a chef walking right after to them.
It is important to say that the chef was great, friendly and entertaining, but the staff rude, not caring and they don’t let you eat in peace.
We could have a full conversation because they kept coming every 3 minutes to ask if we were done and that if they can take the plates that had food still.
It was our first time and we also told them it was my son’s birthday and they completely ignore it.
Not a good service, they need to do better. Well we are not coming back, but here it is for future visitors.

We’ve come here for years, and I get it.. it’s hibachi. Minimal expectations, but it’s always been decent food and good service. Last few visits we’ve been rushed, foods been on the decline and the waitress (never the chef) have been just rude. The bathrooms are horrific, being that it’s hibachi we bring kids and it’s a nightmare to have them use the restroom …. Do better
Our chef was top notch. He kept the table happy and energetic. Our waitress on the other hand was full of bad attitude and let us know she wanted to be anywhere else except for at this restaurant
I tipped the chef $20 cash and thanked him for a great experience.
I didn't tip on the bill, thinking all tips are split between service.
The waitress followed me into the parking lot, yelling at me as I was walking to my car. A bunch of people going in to the restaurant actually saw this happening. After she got done screaming at me I stuck around and answered a few questions for the would be customers that were very interested in the establishment they were about to visit.

The food was very well prepared, and the hibachi chef was highly entertaining however, I felt like the portions were extremely small, and I was still hungry at the end of the whole thing. For a plate that’s $30 I should not be leaving hungry.

I have been to this restaurant more time than I could count. The past year or so of experiences I would say the food quality was ok and the service always made me feel rushed.
Last night we went there for my daughters birthday and had the best experience for as long as I could remember. The service at the table was excellent. The waitress was attentive and we didn’t have to search for her for drink refills. I did feel a tad rushed when asking for food order as soon as drink order but it was ok since the kids had a long day and wanted to eat.
The highlight of our night was the chef. He was outgoing, kept everyone engaged and made everyone laugh. The food was the best we have had in the longest. The food was cooked perfectly, the meat was cut to the perfect sizes and the flavor was incredible. When we left, my wife and I both said that we had the best time and food we have ever had. My only complaint is that they no longer give you soup and salad, you have to pick between one or the other. It was nice to get both with your meal, especially for how much the food costs. Enjoy.

Celebrated mom's birthday with first time experience. Our chef was great very attentive and made sure to verify food allergies. Experience was interactive because you get to play with your food.

I've come to Izumi many, many times for dinner -- delightful! but this time, my workmate and I stopped here to check out their Happy Hour and I'm so glad we did. Food was very good and reasonable...and there were things not on their Happy Hour menu that we ordered from their regular appetizer list that were extremely tasty and still not overpriced. You are limited to the bar area (no tables) but we went at 4:30 on a Saturday and there were bar seats available. Warning...they won't let you eat here on Happy Hour prices and take your leftovers home!!! So only order off that menu what you can eat while you're here. Even so, I'm sure we will go back here again and again.
