Meet Izakaya Ramen & Bar

Went here on a whim because the Google reviews were really high. Server was very sweet and kind. The place was very clean. We ordered the crispy rice tuna appetizer which was delicious. We then ordered some sushi rolls which is where everything went downhill.

The sushi didn't taste right. We each ordered spicy tuna and spicy crab rolls. They all tasted sweet and had an off flavor to them, there was no spicy to be found. I ordered a california roll and the avocado in it was a bit hard. I was very disappointed with the sushi we were served.

The sushi is noticeably super fresh! Also lots of yummy oyster options. Great choice for a day of birthday dinner reservation. However, no plum wine but a great lychee martini

This is my all time favorite restaurant. The quality of the food is out of this world and the staff are so kind and helpful. I highly recommend getting one of the fish specials in which you get one fish prepared in multiple different ways. This has changed how we view sushi. Even the western food is amazing. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

What an absolute gem of a restaurant! everything was outstanding — the food, the staff, and the overall experience. The bartender went above and beyond to make sure you got exactly what you liked, which made the experience feel truly personal. The chefs are incredibly talented and clearly know what they’re doing, and the servers were friendly, attentive, and fantastic. Every detail was on point. Can’t wait to come back — highly recommend!

What an absolute GEM of a spot. I found this place on google one afternoon after getting my hair done and decided to try it out. Beautiful interior, service was quick, and my order was good. It wasn't the best ramen I have had, but it was better than most other places I have tried in Suffolk County. I decided to give it another go tonight and somehow.. the ramen was BETTER tonight. Everything was cooked to perfection. The marinated egg was divine. It wasn't too salty, was flavorful, and had me happy as anything. I also got the thai tea and it was SO GOOD. Not too sweet either. I am more than happy to travel a little extra from my home when I'm craving ramen. Really excited to try more on the menu too.

By far the best ramen in the area. Get the tonkotsu broth with the short rib. If you like spicy get the hot oil on the side and mix it it!

I had a mixed experience at Mihana Japanese Restaurant. The yakitori ribeye was absolutely amazing easily one of the best I’ve had in the area. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal.

Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The ramen was very disappointing. Both the miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen tasted like watered-down broth with scallions and noodles almost like a basic noodle soup, with no depth or richness at all.

The crispy tuna was also a letdown. It tasted very fishy, which is not normal for fresh tuna and really took away from the dish.

I’d come back for the ribeye, but I’d skip the ramen and tuna next time.

The last business at one end of a large shopping center sadly making it somewhat invisible. Trying it out on the recommendation of some friends, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! Clean and tidy interior with a separate bar and dining area with very comfortable seating. The staff and clients all made the visit seem relaxed and enjoyable. The food is best described by the other 5 star reviews. It is that good!
