We've been here a half dozen times as my mom lives close by. The atmosphere, service, literally the layout is exactly the same as my Bayside NY hometown Deli called Buddies.( Recently closed) .\nYou enter the corner shop, to the register staffed by the tall, not so tall and younger novice. Next the glass display of the sides. The knishes, pickles, kasha, coke slaw.....\nMove on back to the sit down tables for the full experience. Take out is certainly available. The waitresses...
Had a take out order consisting of a large matzo ball soup, potato knish and a large pastrami sandwich. Walked out with a mixed bag of food. The soup great, knish average and sandwich below average . Some of the pastrami was over cooked which made the meat a darker color and less tasty.

first the amount of pastrami was beyond less than proper
the “juicy” was dry as the sahara
i don’t care about the cost i do care that the level of quality has dropped so far
it used to be great then got to be good
now it’s just OKAY
i’m sad
if travel isn’t an issue lido kosher in long beach Smokes this place now
