I tolerate this place because I like Polish food. I say tolerate because the people are work here are always rude to the customers. They act somewhere beyond annoyed but right before openly hostile. Now most Polish people who I meet are not the happiest bunch, however, why be mean to the customers? We are the ones who are handing you money for overpriced under portioned fried food. Try not to be so annoyed when customers ask questions.
Most of us are not Polish and we don't have a lot of polish friends, so we don't know a lot about the food. You could assimilate much easier with the commack community if you are nice every once in a while to the customers. Maybe even smile sometimes. It's not difficult to be pleasant. If nothing else, why not just fake being nice like I do to you when I go in there.

Made a catering order on Friday and picked up a few extragoodies on the day which included pre packages pumpernickel bread, 1 for company and 1 for myself. Opened 1 that very day and it was HORRIBLE. Brought them both back today and after much back and forth, they didn't want to refund me for the open package and I only had a 1/2 slice. They said I shouldn't have opened it. Tell me how would I know it's not good if I didn't open it. Not. My problem he said, then he called the owner on the phone and got the same response from her! Then I told her to watch the internet because I was going to let everyone know how she treats customers. Well then she gave me a refund and told me to never step inside her store again!I never will and have let my entire family know about this and this is to let everyone else know, she doesn't know how to treat customers in the USA

Delicious! Big portion for a fair price. I'll be hitting this spot again!
This is a polish supermarket with a deli. I tried the pork chops, cheese blintz and pierogi both the cheese one and the sauerkraut one. The chops were so soft and just tore apart. The spice rub was pretty flavorful. Loved it. The cheese blintz was stuffed with cheese and it stuffed me up too. The pierogi shell was more rubbery than I expected. I preferred the sauerkraut one over the cheese one. Prices were reasonable and the meal filled me up.

It's a great place when you need polish ingredients fast, but if you have the time, go to copiegiue. There's most of the time fresher and cheaper stuff there due to the high polish population.
Everything is so good! The hot food station is fenominal stuffed cabbage. Sausage and sourkraut. Borsch. Salads! Worth a try.
