Can’t say enough good things about our experience. First we came in on a Friday around 6:30 with our toddler, our waiter Nick immediately saw that she was starving and said he would throw her dish in first, which came out astronomically fast. Nick was super friendly & attentive, our pizza took a while to come out which my husband and I were ok with but the manager noticed herself and came over and offered us a free dessert, it got to the time where my toddler had to go lol so we just opted for the check and since we couldn’t take the dessert they gave us 20% off. We made sure to give Nick tip off the pre discounted price because he was that great. Just great service and attentiveness all around. Thank you and we will be back!

I came in with 5 other friends of mine on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, our server, Colleen was friendly and provided great service to us, and our food came out very quickly! I’m not sure if this is customary for parties of 6 or higher, or if it was because we were a group of young college-aged women, but we were automatically charged 20% tip on our bill. Automatically putting the tip on the bill says to me, “I don’t trust that you’ll tip me enough so I’m doing this to cover my bases.” As a waitress myself, I understand where they’re coming from, but I never do that, even if I had more than 8 people in a party. It’s a risk, but I’m willing to take it to give my party the freedom to tip me even more if they want. I was planning on tipping over 20% in cash because the service was so good, but it was too late when I saw it already added.

Ate for the first time here. The lovely waitress Colleen was very knowledgeable, polite and prompt. Ordered the fry sampler and Italian steak sandwich. The food came out swiftly and it was rather savory. There was live music and good drink prices. The restaurant was cleanly and not too packed. Definitely will be coming back.

leaving this review on sat march 9th. me & my family watched the tall manager yell & PUSH an employee. he was speaking with her and then literally put his hands on her. she was an extremely sweet waitress and didn't deserve it. disgusting behavior. if the manager was present when we left i was going to say something but it was extremely busy & he wasnt around. that is NOT OKAY.

I recently met a friend at the bar at Prato. It was a lively scene for a Wednesday so we decided to eat at the bar. Started with an order of tuna tartare and their Italian eggrolls. Love the tuna tartare presentation and the amount of fresh delicious tuna. The egg rolls were also delicious but let me tell you it was more like a burrito than an eggroll. Huge and loaded with sausage cheese and cabbage. We then ordered a Kentucky hot chicken sandwich and an order of pasta with filet tidbit. Again both doishes were delicious. Chicken sandwich was large, crispy and went great with the hot honey. The pasta was like a beef stroganoff on steroids. The whole experience from the food to our wonderfully attentive bartender was top notch. And I’d be remiss to not mention the delicious cocktails. Washed it all down with a spicy Marg and their take on an old fashioned. Both drinks were strong and well balanced. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

My husband bought about $300 in gift cards to Prato850 during the pandemic- a $100 gift card for his parents and $200 for us. We go to dinner with my in-laws with the gift card back in 2021, order dinner and go to pay and the gift card didn’t work. My in-laws had to pay the full amount on their credit card and they accused us of trying to use a gift card with $0 balance. Meanwhile my husband had to return twice over the following week with the gift cards and his bank statement (the first time the manager never showed up on time) to prove that we bought the gift cards a day prior to using them, yet they all showed a zero balance. They turned out to have an issue with their gift cards not working with their POS system so they reissued another gift card, which we used $15 of and made sure the manager at the time gave us a receipt with the balance of the gift card and his name so we wouldn’t have an issue the next time we went to use it.Fast forward to today when we decided to order takeout of 2 wood fired pizzas and a steak sandwich and went to pay and lo and behold, the gift card doesn’t work. We have the receipt with the balance and managers name on it, but they said “oh well, please pay the entire amount on your credit card”. They accused us of having a card that’s over a decade old, despite the receipt being from 2021 and the manager said “I don’t even know who the managers name is on the receipt”. Why is that my problem? After arguing back and forth, they reluctantly gave us the food and my husband was so frustrated with what went on for a second time, just left the remainder of the gift card with a $25 balance at the restaurant and told them to give the money to the staff, knowing damn well we won’t be able to use the rest of it because they can’t seem to figure out how to issue gift cards that work. The wood fired pizza was soggy and limp, as you can see in the photo. It tasted exactly as it looked- pretty gross. For a restaurant that has managed to stay open for several years, you would think they would stand behind their gift cards without issue (especially when they’ve had these problems in the past) and know how to make a wood fired pizza that has flavor and is cooked enough to keep its shape. Highly disappointed, should have trusted the negative reviews.
