The BEST spanakopita I have ever had! The yogurt and blueberries was so amazing, I was shocked how something so simple could be so delicious. My husband and daughter ate the greek salad and were blown away by how fresh and generous the portion size was as well as the price. They brought home dessert and it was gone in minutes. I will definitely be going there soon to try more from the menu.

Went for take-out based on 4.7 star reviews after a hard day's work transplanting trees. OMG the Spanakopita and Greek salad had such authentic flavors! Pictured are a Falafel sandwich and Lemon potatoes. Everything was authentically delicious!

The food is overpriced and overrated. The lunch bowl was mostly rice and hard rice at that. The sandwich was mostly a salad. The desserts were really good though. The Athenian is my go to for local good Greek- they give you insane portions for your price and the quality and flavor of the food is unmatched. Don’t let good service trick your taste buds!

Dinner is hard to swallow tonight after picking up foods from Simply Greek Express in Commack. I ordered online multiple times (like A LOT LOT of times), never was I asked for a signature. But it's a different person today and I have a feeling he might be the owner and after he looked at me (I'm an Asian), he asked for my signature. I feel so insulting to be humiliated like that. My partner who is a Caucasian, helped me pick up the orders many times in the past and was never asked to sign either. When I asked the owner how come he needed the signature now, he couldn't even answer me. I'm never going back to this place again. Racism should stop! Just because one is Asian doesn't mean all Asians are the same. Shame on you, you should never own a business.
I am disappointed in myself for not ordering from this place sooner! The service is quick and painless, which I love. The atmosphere is family-friendly for a Greek Place. I ate at this restaurant on Saturday after dance and the food and service was phenomenal. Our party was treated like royalty and I can say the grape leaves were some of the best I ever had. Everything about the restaurant is authentic and tasty and clean, with friendly, warm, and personable service. The owner spoke to us at length over how inspired he was to create an authentic Greek experience. Highly recommended!

The owner, John, greeted me and gave me overview of the menu highlighting some items that are made special in house. Super friendly.
I got a beef / lamb gyro with fries which was excellent.
John also gave me a sample of homemade Greek yogurt with fruit topping. Crazy good.
Can’t wait to go back to try more dishes.

We stopped here on our way back to Westchester and were not disappointed! The owner was so friendly and told us all about the dishes we were interested in and what they made in-house. I could tell he takes so much pride in his food and heritage. We got the chicken doner Greek style gyro (incredible), the chicken souvlaki gyro (also incredible), the grape leaves and baklava. Everything was so delicious and fresh and we got to sample a Greek yogurt dessert while we waited. We couldn’t have asked for a better spontaneous restaurant experience. I wish we lived closer, I know we’d be regulars!
Mostly takeout, but they do have a few tables and I often see people dining in. Staff is super friendly and the food is exceptional!
