Most going for an açai bowl think they're eating healthy. The added sugar content in one bowl is higher than the recommended daily allowance. So where is the health benefit. How is that helping people on a diet or watching their sugar content? so if you're looking for something yummy, then Sobol is the way to go. But if you're looking to be healthy, make your own bowl and purchase açai from Trader Joe's.

I’m extremely disappointed and concerned by what my daughter experienced today. She ordered an açaí bowl and, to our shock, found a dead fly on one of the strawberries. This is beyond unsanitary, it’s disgusting and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, she clearly requested no blueberries, yet they were still included. If she had an allergy, this could have resulted in a medical emergency. As a parent, I’m appalled by the lack of attention and care. I sincerely hope you take this matter seriously and make immediate improvements to your food handling and order accuracy.

I ordered an açaí bowl and was initially enjoying it, until I noticed a dead fly on one of the strawberries. That is absolutely revolting and completely unacceptable. It’s shocking that something so unsanitary could be served to a customer. On top of that, I specifically asked for no blueberries, yet they were still added to my order. What if I had a serious allergy? This kind of negligence is not only careless but potentially life-threatening. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest you reevaluate your food safety standards and staff training immediately.

All the bananas were brown and smashed. And on top of that I got charged 11 dollars for just a ball of açaí and sprinkle of granola. If the owners of the brand saw this store they would remove the franchise from here. What a disappointment. Never going back I rather drive farther

I never wrote a bad review ever in my life. But I’m so pissed off so I have time today. I basically grew up in Huntington and get açaí bowls between Babylon, Melville, or the Syosset Sobol. Last time you guys gave me a regular açaí in a super.. I’m not a Karen so I made it a lesson and never went back. Now 10/2/24 again you guys do the same thing but this time give me 1 small scoop of cookie butter when I paid for 3 (mind you they charge a HEFTY amount for this when you compare to the actual price of cookie butter). Also your strawberries tasted sour, bananas were overripe, and açaí soupy as multiple other reviews say. Do yourself a favor and drive/order delivery to the next nearest sobol to you.

I used to love Sobol, however I will now NEVER be going back. The food tastes mediocre but the service is ABSOLUTELY atrocious. The staff doesn’t listen to your order and they are constantly messing up the orders. There is nothing worse than driving to sobol and coming home and realizing they completely messed up your bowl and now it is unable to be eaten. 9 times out of ten the bowl will be wrong after I specifically order what I want. And it’s not that my family and I are ordering complicated things; most of us just get regular bowls and some of us have only one thing we ask for to be removed from the bowl. Sobol seriously needs to improve their staff and customer service skills if they want to stay in business. DO BETTER; messing up the bowls is making people annoyed.
