I ordered and received my order within 1 business day. Ordered on a Saturday and received on a Tuesday. UPS delivered and the cookies were in good shape. The cookies were very good just like I remembered them. Thank you all.

It’s May 6th and the cookies I bought are ready to expire June 28th, since I bought them at a sandwich shop it’s likely they have been sitting on the shelf a while. They were ok, chips ahoy are better, in my opinion. Nothing special, maybe the fresher ones are better. It satisfied my desire for a cookie.

The same cookies they used to sell when I was in school. Butter crunch and the oatmeal raisins are my favorite

I have ordered Butter Crunch Cookies,They arrived shipping box open cookies broken up everywhere out of 2 boxes .Reported it immediately and even called I was transferred 3 times .Then spoke to a representative and explained the problem .I was referred to UPS .Nothing.I emailed and called the company. Finally I speak with a representative. She said she put in for the replacement but won't receive it until 1-2 weeks later. One replacement box arrived bottom shipping box open and all the cookies broken up .They look like rejected product off a assembly line.Reported to the company by email and notified them 1 box was missing and all the cookies were broken up and bottom of shipping box was open.No response.4/20/22 the second box arrived and guess what all of them are broken too.I don't know why this is happening. But the memories from childhood of how good Linden's cookies are is a thing of the past.New generations will never get to experience the true quality in their products. This company needs a major change.Rotate the team if they can't make and pack good quality products.Find the original recipe start over. What ever ingredients are being used now it doesn't hold the cookies together. Just call the company crumble linden's cookies. Some packs don't even have 3 cookies in it.Some have 2 once you put the pieces together. As you can see no freshness. All the packs are broken up like this.I opened both boxes as you can see they broken up.No need to dump all of them out on the table. You see it .I hope they are working on changing this .

I ordered a box of the 18 count butter crunch cookies. The cookies were dated to expire within two months, and were not fresh. Like the review below stated, they did not respond to the email that I sent. I called today and spoke with someone by the name of Christian, and they did not want to honor their product when I explained to her that the cookies were stale, and hard. Also, I did not mention the fact that my packages were also broken into pieces. I did not want a refund, only wanted to receive a quality fresh product that I paid for. She stated that she would not replace the product due to company policy, but yet when I asked her where that was stated online (because that is how I placed my order), her response was that it wasn't online. A reputable company would not respond in such a way. Furthermore, she stated that I would have to pay for return shipping to send them back samples of what I received at my expense. I informed her that I was willing to send the cookies back, but only if they covered for the return shipping, for which she did not agree. This is an unreasonable request for the consumer to pay extra to send back cookies that were not fresh. I thought that I would be better off trying to order directly from the company. How wrong was I. I should've ordered from Amazon because they back their orders. Please learn from my experience. Buyer beware.

We have loved Linden's butter crunch cookies since we were kids. So we ordered some. About $30 worth. When they arrived they were hard, crumbled up pieces of cookies even though they were marked fragile. These things are obviously old and stale. When we called Linden's to see if they'd make good on this horrible experience all he said was, "Well, no one else has complained." and "I'll have to get with the powers that be and get back to you." What garbage. We'll never hear from them again. And we'll never buy Linden's cookies again. What a horrible disappointment. Linden's sent us the worst cookies they had and provided the worst customer service we've ever experienced.

I moved away from NY 8 years ago. I remember these cookies from when I was in high school from 1977 to 1981. The butter crunch cookie was my favorite especially with chocolate milk. So I ordered a box of butter crunch and chocolate chip. I opened the butter crunch expecting to have that euphoric feeling that only the butter crunch can give. Well that was short lived. The crunch pieces were few and far between and they tasted over cooked. I do have a feeling something changed in the recipe. I will finish my cookies but I will savor the memories of yesteryear. Sorry guys these are not the same as they were.01/15/2022. Ok so what is fair is fair after finishing the box of butter crunch and chocolate chip cookies I have to update the review. Yes there were a few packages that had over cooked cookies but the rest had the butter crunch I remembered. They were not as soft as I remember but still good. Linden’s sorry for the first review, but there were some bad cookies.

The cookies a great. We order them all the time. The problem is they often arrive as crumbs due to shipper handling a poor protective packaging

I’ve been calling and emailing for a refund since the day of my delivery which was about a month ago, the expiration date is way too soon and the cookies already don’t taste fresh, most of the cookies are in crumbs.

I have always loved the butter crunch since elementary school. They were 30 cents then now they are 1.00 in the local stores. Oatmeal raisin is also one if my favorites.
