Potential for a great local bar. The food is fantastic and the bartendresses are amazing. That having been said, they killed their local crowd by limiting jukebox music on dart night and for some unknown and ridiculous reason, they're closed on Sunday's ... even during football season. They also have a horrible bourbon selection. Guess they don't like $$$.

I had a very unfortunate situation tonight at Peppermill South with one of the bar tenders. I will no longer be giving this bar/restaurant my business as well as the group of people I was with.

I had a very unfortunate situation tonight at Peppermill South with one of the bar tenders. I will no longer be giving this bar/restaurant my business as well as the group of people I was with. Some background, pre covid myself and a few friends visited this bar every Friday and occasionally some other days as well. I also had my birthday here at this bar and brought my family friends. We bought this bar a dart board and asked the bar tender during this time (Chris) if it was OK to gift the bar this because the current dart board was not in good shape. He happily accepted and we continued to come back and play darts. Tonight was the first night we have been back in over a year because of covid and we came back to celebrate my friends birthday. There was a band tonight which sang my friend happy birthday and we left them a great tip and said we appreciated it. Apparently during one of the songs later on, one of the bartenders (blonde hair) came up to us and asked us if we had a problem. We said to them no and what is this about. She said we were being disrespectful to the band during one of their slower songs and we should leave because all of the other people at the bar felt the same way. First off, we were not disrespectful to the band. We appreciated that they sang happy birthday and gave them a great tip for singing happy birthday. Second, the other bar tender was super nice and after the bartender with the blonde hair had an issue with us, the other bar tender apologized on her behalf. Third, no bar tender should treat customers that way and my friend who is gay felt incredibly uncomfortable by her and when she said this she just ignored it and kept harassing us. We really loved the food at this place and we had a great time there when Chris was the bartender. It's a shame that this new bartender has some biases against people and now we will no longer be visiting this establishment ever again.
Really! 5 stars... It is old and dingy in there. There are beer cases all around the walls where you would eat. The photos of the drinks look wonderful but that had to be for a special occasion because when you go there they'll serve you out of paper cups. Sorry just my opinion. This is a tiny hole in the wall.
